The room is ok, but the lobby was not so nice, I was confused with the hotel status. Is this 4star or 5star . The staff was helpful. I only complain about the lobby for welcoming guest,

On our last day, my varicose vein burst and I was bleeding. We call front desk and a first aid officer came quickly and put compression bandages. Also, your other employee quickly called Ambulance service and 4 paramedics arrived to the hotel room in 15 minutes. It was a coordinated effort between your man who came with the first aid officer and the Health service. He followed me with the paramedics to the ambulance and did not leave until I was inside the ambulance.

Positive aspects first: - Well located near the heart of Orchard Rd shopping district - Easy access to MRT (Orchard or Somerset stations) and Bus routes to get almost anywhere - reasonably well presented room (albeit compact and slightly tired-looking bathroom) - nice touch with Accor loyalty welcome in room - pre-visit email from the reservations and bookings executive of the hotel at the time of booking (4 months prior) noting my request for late checkout and was told it would be extended by 2 hours to 1400 (would be an extra charge if I wanted it to be later, but was not given a cost). - Pre-visit welcome email from guest experience executive 3 days prior, confirming booking and asking if there were any special requests. Recognition of Accor Gold status benefits with offer of room upgrade and late checkout (subject to availability). - Clean for green initiative with dining credits in lieu of reduced room cleaning Less positive aspects: - Despite Accor Gold Elite status & welcome email 3 days before stay, a further email 2 days before stay inviting guests to “upgrade your stay” at a cost, including late checkout at 3pm (rather than the normal time of 12pm) costing S$90! - However at check-in, none of the complimentary Gold Elite benefits were offered and the earlier pre-arranged late checkout of 2pm was not noted on the booking. I then requested if there was any available room upgrade or late check-out as part of my loyalty membership, and was told that the room was upgraded to a “higher floor” - which was my original booking (hence no upgrade) but was only then offered complimentary late checkout at 2pm. - Restaurant staff somewhat aloof and seemed unenthusiastic towards hotel guests, and despite approaching staff to make a table reservation for a specified time, they checked the screen and gave the response “yes that should be ok - just come at the time and there should be a table”. Not sure why they did not bother to put in a reservation, because when we returned later that evening, a different staff member could not find the booking and appeared confused, before I suggested they go check with the original staff member who we had spoken to earlier in the day. The restaurant was not full. - table water is charged at S$3 per person, despite the hotel encouraging guests staying there to use the complimentary filtered water tap in their room. Glasses were not topped up regularly, although on the second visit, a bottle was left on the table. - Staff did not seem to know their own restaurant’s opening hours - “Supper from 2230 - 2400” on Thurs, Fri & Saturday is advertised, however when we went to place an order supper at 2240, was told the kitchen was closed and supper was not available. It was not until I pointed at the specific supper menu with times printed on it, that the staff member went to check if indeed supper was still being offered (it was). - Slightly unusual setup where the only access to the gym and pool is to go through the Atelier Lounge / Bar area.

Some unprofessional matter that happened to me, 1) The staff give me the wrong key number! I already went up, dragging my luggage just to find out that the access couldn’t work 2) I went down and they give me the new access with the new room numbers, then I realized it was room for disability, should I get inform and ask for my consent either I am comfortable with this option or not? The bathroom and room setting is a bit unfamiliar for me and not in a good way I paid in order to make myself happy even for one night in middle of Orchard but all of those experience just ruined my SG trip Thanks Pullman!

It is completely unacceptable that you were inconvenienced by this oversight, and I understand the frustration of having to return to the front desk with your luggage in tow. Additionally, I apologize for the lack of communication regarding the room assignment. It is our responsibility to ensure that guests are fully informed and comfortable with their accommodations. I understand that being assigned a disability-accessible room without prior notification was unexpected and may not have been suitable for your needs. I am truly sorry for the lack of focus and attention to detail from our staff during the check-in process. We will thoroughly review our staffing levels and training procedures to ensure that our team members are attentive and provide the high standard of service that we are known for. I understand that our apologies cannot fully rectify the negative impact these experiences had on your trip to Singapore.
