It's a budget hotel, parking can be hit-and-miss depending on how many Titan/Saga minibuses are hogging spaces

I thought I had booked a different Ibis, but was very happy with what I found here. Nice room, little noise apart from people wheeling suitcases down the corridor! But that’s understandable. Comfy bed, clean room, nice bathroom, but if I was a larger size it may have been difficult getting in and out of the shower! But there was good water pressure, especially as I was on the top floor. Although I wish the shower head was movable rather than static, but that is minor. Staff I interacted with were polite and friendly, and I would stay there again.

The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The food was very good ( I cook for a living so I would know) The room basic and was very cleans The bed was disappointing as it was two single beds put together which meant there was a dip in the bed! So I didn’t like that at all.. meant you had to sleep on one side of the bed or or the other. Which meant there was no point in having a double bed.. Also didn’t like that it was a cashless hotel. But the rest of everything in the hotel was very good.

Room smelt badly of body odour, and there was no soundproofing between rooms, or the hall. Every conversation, person walking past, door opening, woke us up. At one point I was convinced someone was coming into our room, because the noise of the lock across the hall was so clear. Very poor sleep, not worth the money spent to save us hassle in the morning with an early flight unfortunately.

Staff were very friendly. I arrived early before check in and left bags. Room was comfortable and clean. was a bit disconcerting (but kind of cool) to see planes flying directly towards my window.

Our rooms weren’t ready when we arrived, although we were a big coach booking so that’s to be understood. Breakfast was okay, a few choices that were replenished quickly. Rooms were a standard room, very clean. Only thing is you have to go to the bar to get a tea or coffee, not provide in rooms.

Regarding the tea and coffee facilities, as an ibis budget hotel, these are not provided as standard in the guest rooms. However, tea and coffee are available to purchase from our bar for £4.
