The room was functional but very noisy, the cleaning storage cupboard in the corridor was open the whole evening with noise bleeding from the outside. No hot water in the evening.

Great location. The room was big with microwave, fridge, a desk, wardrobe, and new bathroom. Service was terrible. Firstly, they were going to charge us full price as they somehow didn’t notice that we were using cash and points - no attention to detail. Their EFTPOS machine kept me on declining our 2 AMEX through ApplePay and a physical card. They asked if we have sufficient balance and somehow didn’t think that was rude. They called their EFTPOS provider and apparently AMEX declined the transactions. We called AMEX, they said there was no attempt. We asked are you sure you accept AMEX, they got defensive and said of course. We were tired, so we just used a Mastercard and the transaction was successful so I guess their machines were not set to accept AMEX. We asked for our welcome drinks, one of them couldn’t even figure out which beer was pale ale which was clearly labelled on the can - the other person got annoyed that this person couldn’t figured it out. Definitely not going back there.
