Location was fantastic, walking distance to all activities in Sydney CBD and Darling Harbour. Room was quite small.

Upon arrival at reception I was quizzed on payment for the booking, the staff member claimed they had not received payment and tried to charge me again. When I explained I booked via booking.com and showed proof of transaction I was dismissed and told 'well we'll just have to take your word for it then' before being led to a subpar room. The room we were allocated had a double bed on a lower level. I had to go back down to reception and once again 'prove' I had in fact booked a Superior King Room. I explained it was a special birthday stay for my daughter so we couldn't both fit in a double bed - to which they offered a solution of 'wheeling a spare mattress' into the room. After a bit of back and forth they finally agreed to move us into a room on a higher level with a King Size Bed. I was made to feel like an inconvenience for simply requesting to be put in a room we paid for. Overall the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, staff were not asked to go above and beyond - merely to provide what was paid for, attitude of your staff definitely has room for major improvement.

My wife & I happy to stay here for 2 nights. Excellent location and short walk to city centre, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and transport. The room is clean and we were given a room on the top floor. Views are nice. I give a score of 8 because I asked them to make the room but it wasn’t done. Or else it would have been a 10.
