Our experience was great. The only problem was that the pool was closed.

We sincerely regret the temporary closure of our indoor pool during your visit. Please know our Level 2 pool typically operates daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and we’ve shared your feedback with our maintenance team to minimize future disruptions. Nonetheless, we’re delighted our proximity to Chinatown, Darling Quarter, and the ICC Sydney added convenience to your stay. Thank you again; we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back. Was easy to get to places and quiet in the room

Firstly, I want to commend the staff they were very friendly and accommodating. It was nice to receive a gift for my birthday too. However, I was disappointed in the amount of noise that comes through to the rooms. I was woken up both nights, and early in the mornings by doors slamming. This was even with ear plugs on. It is like my door was opened. I understand not all noise can be blocked, but this was way too extreme. It seems there is minimal sound proofing through the rooms and hallways. I was also put right next to the cleaners room, this also added to the noise. I booked so I could relax and enjoy the weekend but instead I barely got any sleep due to the noise. Another problem is the hot water - it really is not so hot. Im assuming this has been done to minimise energy footprint which I can appreciate, but not when winter is around the corner. All in all, I likely would not recommend this hotel based on the above. Unless there is another booking type or request I could have included in the booking so this wouldn’t happen?

Our rooms located on the opposite side of the building are usually considered much quitter. We have noted this in your account, so that next time you come, we will be able to allocate your room accordingly. Our reception team is also available 24/7 and would absolutely love to help you with the room re-allocation. The comments regarding the hot water were also passed over to our maintenance team, so we can improve the temperature for the convenience of our guests. Nonetheless, we were pleased to celebrate your special occasion with a thoughtful gesture and hope it added a personal touch to your visit.
