The staff were very helpful, the room was comfortable and the location was convenient to public transportation, but the street noise was very loud and disrupted sleep.

This hotel is old, but the room was reasonably clean. bathroom was small and well out of date in desperate need of updating, however usable in the long run. The thing that stuck out about this place was the smell in the foyer area, like a distinct smell of a vinegar or chemical nature that was there all day every day, fortunately it did not permeate into the rooms. The location is excellent, light rail out the front easy access to local shops restaurants bars etc. If you have a definite budget this place is right for you, if you are looking for 4 or 5 star definitely look elsewhere.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The property was nothing like what we expected based on the photos. Overall, the experience was very poor, and sadly we would never return. The windows have very poor sound insulation, and the constant noise from outside made it almost impossible to get a good night's sleep. The owner should seriously consider upgrading the acoustic performance of the windows. The sofa is old, excessively soft, and completely worn out. It provides no back support and is very uncomfortable to sit on. The bathroom is also very old and in need of renovation. The ceiling should be properly repainted, as signs of previous water leaks are clearly visible and make the property feel poorly maintained. The bathtub is very high and difficult to climb into, especially for elderly guests. For safety reasons, the owner should consider replacing the bathtub with a walk-in shower, which would be much safer and more accessible for people of all ages. The beds are far too soft, and the pillows were uncomfortable, which further affected our sleep quality. I encourage the owner to spend a few nights in the property themselves. If they stayed in the room as guests do, they would quickly understand why we are giving this feedback. Sadly, this stay did not meet our expectations at all, and we will not be returning.

Comfortable, everything we needed, helpful staff. Just a bit noisy, not a fan of shower over the bath - having to step over, it was very slippery and dangerous
