Have stayed here before very handy hotel will be lovely when alterations are finished Rooms still need a bit of work but we enjoyed our stay and our room with a balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying there again when our world settles down and back to normal.

Poor. WE cancelled one hour after booking in, after our Cruise was cancelled. No refunds? Why? They need 30 days notice. No consideration was given that we had to fly out within 3 hrs. We never even unpaked. Very poor customer service relations.

A little hard to see for us. It's name had changed to Manta. A little rough around the edges with the renovations but from what we see it'll be very nice.

My mother and I had planned a brief trip to visit her sister. On arrival their was a small issue with the room. When the manager found out later that day he upgraded us to a better room. We hadn't made a fuss bit they had heard us and had acted on us. I would definitely stay again over another hotel because of that fact. Not that we wanted a room upgrade but because we were listened to and heard. Well done Mantra.

The lobby was under major construction the entire time. The location was a bit shady, there was a massage parlor entrance THROUGH the hotel.

slightly disappointing started well with a room being available early without balcony which didn't worry us what the receptionist didn't mention that it was a special needs room with no bath. we then asked about breakfast places and got told we could have a voucher for sister hotel which we took and only when checking out is when we found out that the vouchers were not free but cost 18 dollars no amount had been mentioned previously

We check in on the 12th March and was shocked to realize the name has already change. (We wasnt inform way before hand) so having an issue to locate the hotel until we spot this small sticker on the glass panel. With luggages, it’s not really how you would love to start your holiday. Upon check in was serve by this Indian lady who was not welcoming at all, told her the issue she merely reply me oh, we just change, where did you book from? Ctrip, then Ctrip should tell you. This could have been handle better if she could really use some of her concern and reassure us that you all will communicate with your booking platform to ensure there is no such problem. The first room we got, 611 - was so bad, the showerhead start splashing all over, the bathtub water could not flow. I have no idea why on a low room occupancy we are still assigned with such a standard of room. On our 2nd night, thank god we managed to call the front desk and was talking to Max, he is the only few who really care. He tell us he will fix it and offer to change to a new room, then we were moved to the 3rd floor. Which the overall room is good and much better BUT there noise level is unbearable, my partner and I could not even sleep in peace. And we can even hear the traffic light every few minute. My god, with the screaming, it’s so bad til we have to change our room again. The 3rd time was this Indian guy who say he will do something for us in the morningn, which he kept his promise and manage to move me to the 8th floor and finally it is a good time and sleep. Your Indian female receptionist is really a letdown and make us feel like we are not even welcome to stay and I am asking for it when I merely check why are occupants not informed when the name of hotel is change. Is like a complete different name! Overall, thankful to Max and the Indian guy who actually help to ensure everything is alright.

The room is huge by today's standard and cleanliness wasn't too bad. Sufficient for our 4 night stay. We did have an an Issue with our room air conditioning when it was just blowing air for 2 nights (room felt humid and warm). Suba the hotel manager came to have a look and even offered to get a new room for us. When we declined he gave us his mega- powerful fan which was a great help. We would stay there again, knowing that we will be looked after.

We spent two nights at Breakfree/ Mantra. Comfortable bed and wel appointed clean bathroom with bath and shower, and surprisingly quiet for a city centre appartment.
