There was a problem with the toilet. In the middle of the night, he woke up and used the bathroom. He found that the bathroom had been flooded with water from the toilet. Fortunately, it was clean water from the cistern. He needed to change rooms in the middle of the night.

alarm announcement at roughly 12:30am and 4:30am. This appears to be a consistent activity with a colleague having the same issue prior week. Receptionist confirming that resolution has been unsuccessful

Bathroom was extremely smelly,not cleaned. Worst experience.

We had an excellent stay, We booked 3 rooms in total. Our only complaint which none of us were happy about was the "Evacuate Alarm going off 4 times in the one night from 1.45am til 5.30am. We literally got NO sleep that night. Our kids were scared, crying, tired & we were fed up also. We can totally understand things do happen but 4 times in the 1 night was unacceptable. We had a booking to go to Taronga the next morning and we only managed to handle 3 hours there as we were all so tired from a night with no sleep. I was angry & annoyed as it cost us alot of money to pay for the tickets and the holiday to Sydney and our main highlight was ruined. We got a "sorry" from the staff but does "sorry" change our experience ? No it doesn't. The staff said someone used a microwave for too long which caused the issue. However all the hotel guests paid the price of that persons actions. Beside that we had a good stay. Sadly though that event is what we remember firstly.
