We did have an issue when we first booked for the 18th April 2020. I did confirm with the hotel leading up to the 19th that all was Ok due to Covid , and was told it was and they were looking foreword to seeing us ( they did say that the restaurants were closed, but room service was available and provided a menu) When we arrived to check in on the Saturday afternoon, we were then told we could not book in unless we weer bona fide workers and needed documentation. To say i was disappointed was an understatement. The young lady on the front desk was extremely apologetic. I made contact with the hotel on the Monday and had my concerns responded by Rizza Manalang Reservations Manager. She was very apologetic and offered us an upgrade on our return. We booked into your Hotel this weekend and were very impressed with the two young ladies on reception, the room , bonus cheese plate, restaurant and breakfast. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back. If you could pass on my thanks to Rizza and the her team, greatly appreciated

Our 3 night midweek stay corresponded with the first week of the stringent lock down laws. Given that the hotel restaurant, cafe and bar would be closed other than for take away and room service, my wife and I debated whether we should cancel the booking. We're delighted that we didn't! The William Inglis is an oasis in the south west and is truly 5 . From the professionally friendliness of the staff, to the luxurious room and fittings, to the quality of the food, we were made to feel like royalty in what must be extremely worrying times for all the management and staff. The grounds are beautifully maintained and manicured and a pleasure for a stroll or to gaze at. We couldn't recommend this hotel enough, whether it be for relaxation or for a business stay. We'll be back next year around the same time! A huge thank you to everyone at the William Inglis. You made our stay so special.

Generally we enjoyed our stay. - The room was spacious and had a beautiful interior design. The view from the room was quite nice too. The bed was comfortable. The carpet probably needed a good deep vacuum. - The bathroom again was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathtub was deep and large, which was excellent for having a relaxing bath. The water from the shower, however, always leaked out from the shower area and wet the supposedly dry area. The toilet is placed in a separate enclosed space, which is great. - The staff were friendly and we appreciated the welcome gifts in the room. - The hotel surroundings were nice. It's a good place to stroll with my family. It's a hard to walk around outside the hotel since there are no shops and restaurants within a walking distance. - The gym was clean and adequately equipped for guests to have some good exercise. The outdoor swimming pool is located on the roof and offers great views. The water was cold though when we were there. It should have been heated. - Breakfast was ok. The dishes were not as varied as we expected. I noticed a fly (yes, only 1) roaming the breakfast area throughout our 4-night stay. - We ordered a room service once and we enjoyed the dish. Delicious.

I had my wedding ceremony on 13/03/2020 and tea station and fruit platter to be served to my guest , after the ceremony my guest wanted to have some drink and fruits , but the terrible staff stop my guest and told them no more to served , which is still have lots left over ! The lemon tea charges me $250 for just a jug ? which is rip off ! The event coordinator was professional,never reply email , even i called her ,she said she will email me back , but never get back to me ! I have to call her all the time to follow up the event !

As an accor plus membership it's such a shame that I've been told that I need to always let the people know that I am an accor plus membership. Aren't you know base on the room that we've been booked in? We have paid 50% breakfast as accor plus benefit.. but we paid a full price for dinner.. and the waiter that served as just said "oh it because you didn't tell us that you are accor plus member, and I can't help you, we are to busy to do it.. such a horrible response..
