We really enjoyed our stay here. The styling of the hotel is beautiful. If I had to find a tiny fault, it would just be the there was no bathroom door in our room. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We would like to make a special mention to Mehul Shah whom took care of us when dining at breakfast. He went above and beyond to give us a positive experience. He had no idea that our stay was actually to allow us to attend a funeral, but his kindness really bought some joy to our day. If we need to travel to the area again, we would happily stay here.

I stayed for work on two separate days and appreciated a great quiet room where I could work and a restaurant with very friendly staff that understood the needs of a solo working traveller (there were a few of us dotted around the back section which was perfect). The steaks at the restaurant were also great and I appreciated the professional waiters. For some reason I was charged for various mini bar items from the first day (which I never ever use, especially due my company policy; I only drink at the restaurant/s with my own funds), but the front desk was understanding and acted promptly. Thankyou. Anyway, apart from that mix up, I look forward to the next business trip in three months. Also asked about where to walk and enjoyed looking at the horse stables and the longer lagoon walk. It was somewhat of a comfortable stay and breakfast was nice. And staff are lovely. Apart of the fire evacuation which I know is not the hotels fault. Also there really needs to be a door between the room and the bathroom. It was very uncomfortable to use the toilet or shower with someone else in the room. Very little privacy.

We stayed in standard king room this time around and we were bit uncomfortable with openings/ design for shower and toilet . That would be our only thing that we could change. Preferably we like those rooms to be more private.

Overall it was excellent except for the Movie on Demand - which did not work and no Technician to fix. We have had a few issues in the past with this on other stays.

We had a nice stay. James at the front desk was excellent — he's a real asset to the hotel and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant staff were nice, but the food was average. The pool was a bit cool, even though the info sheet said it was heated. The bar service was good. We had a lovely stay overall and would recommend it. It's a nice getaway, and not far from the city.

My recent stay was let down by front desk inefficiency and a total disregard for room privacy. ​Check-in was frustrating from the start. One of the older female receptionists was cold and unwelcoming—she didn't smile once and moved at a sluggish pace despite a growing queue. I arrived early, which was fine, and was told I’d receive a phone call as soon as my room was ready around 2:00 PM. By 2:15 PM, having heard nothing, I had to queue up for another 15 minutes only to discover my room keys were sitting right on the desk waiting for me. No one had bothered to call. ​Worse, however, was the housekeeping and room intrusion. I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign activated, yet a cleaner knocked on the door claiming it was the wrong room—annoying, but manageable and at least she did not try to open the door. Shortly after, another staff member knocked and simply opened the door wanting to restock the minibar. Ignoring a DND sign and was going to enter an occupied room is completely unacceptable for a hospitality establishment. The physical hotel itself is quite good—the room was clean, facilities were solid overall, and the spacious carpark made parking completely stress-free. Unfortunately, the service and a severe lack of respect for guest privacy ruined what could have been a great stay. ​

Unfortunately the hotel said to have heated pools but the pools were not heated. There were spider webs in the outside area, looking out of windows and the swimming pool area. Front desk area was nice and clean. Shower has mould and the frosted glass still shows the person inside. Lack of privacy.

the fire alarms went off but very poor leadership and no one really taking charge and letting people know what is going on when we went outside - it was a false alarm, but many went outside etc - plus no hot water and again no communication - I am sure it's a rare double but
