Check-in was very slow and the Receptionist was (in my opinion) not well trained. I told her that my information should be on file as I’ve stayed at the property several times yet the printout information she produced contained numerous blatant errors. I was frustrated as I had rung the Motel THREE times during the day en-route and the phone was never answered (one call on hold for over 30 minutes then I hung up). Check in was also the only time that my Credit card had left my hands yet mysteriously a fraudulent charge of $52.50 was made on it at 10.52pm that night for a Museum which I have never visited also I was sound asleep at the time. There was a small live cockroach on the bathroom floor (squashed it) and one half of a lemon pit in the folded towel on the bed also another lemon pit on the shower floor. Otherwise everything was clean and very comfortable but I couldn’t get the a/c to work (has happened before)..

I have had a few stays at this place now, where TV has not been able to be operated. Even though I went back to reception to a remote (no remote in the room) and following the instructions on the remote. I still couldn't get the TV to work. Management needs to check each and every room that the TV works! I have already booked an upcoming stay and will be very peeved if, once again, the TV doesn't work and/or I need to traipse back to reception for a remote control (that might or might not work)
