Horrendous Manager Joanne needs to be removed from hospitalilty for good Place needs revamp Clean clean clean

The supervisor wasn’t at all worried for my nanny who is disabled. We couldn’t get a disabled room so we asked for a twin. A twin room is two separate beds we were given a room with a deluxe king when asked reception we want a twin no one did anything.

When checking in Rylie did an excellent job he booked us in under the rate given by Expedia and put us in a disabled room, he also mentioned the room won’t be available from Saturday onwards and we will be transferred to room 108, we said that’s fine. He told us to see reception in the morning. When I spoke to reception the next morning I was told we were only booked in for one night I tried to explain what was mentioned the night before when the supervisor/manager interrupted telling me who she was three times supervisor/manager I told her we were here because my nephew just had a Quadruple bypass and we need accommodation for a week, to us she didn’t care. In the end we didn’t get a twin we moved the beds ourselves the fridge wasn’t switched on and when talking to the supervisor/manager regarding rates she made out I was lying.

Customer service at the reception was not so bad can’t complain that but stay experience was really pathetic. I booked two rooms. No lift at the hotel so if you have too many luggages and you’re on third or fourth floor it could be a struggle. No soaps or liquids in the wash basin in both the rooms. Bathroom gel ran out while taking shower. No intercoms in the room to contact reception instead have to save their number on the phone to contact them. Room walls were dirty (black spots everywhere). Window walls and edges were dirty too. One of the rooms were suppose to have a King bed but had queen. Asked about this with the reception lady she said it was king bed. I have stayed in few king bed rooms in different hotels I know the difference it definitely wasn’t a king bed but that didn’t really bother me much. No extra blanket provided and there was no wardrobe and no iron. Thankfully I was there for only one night. I understand it’s a budget accommodation but that doesn’t mean the quality needs to be compromised so poorly. Overall didn’t like it. Won’t stay here again for sure.

Access from the highway to this hotel was easy. Only issue was that we checked in we only dropped off our stuff in the room and left straight away. When we returned at 11pm we then noticed there was no Doona on the top bed. However I messaged the contact number and the on call person was able to drop on off straight away which was great.

Good price, clean sheets and good shower but noisey location next to road and room had an odour to it.

Got what I paid for. Room amenities need upgrades. Room needs a proper clean from head to toe, as room smelled pretty bad. Window didn’t close properly.
