The friendliest hotel staff EVER! Lovely welcome and check in. Check out equally pleasant. Good value bar menu. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Can’t fault… doesn’t feel like an ibis to be honest! Will stay again.

Stayed here as another colleague did. It’s best to describe this as an expensive basic room. The room was at best basic. No plate or utensils, click radio still made for iphone 5, could not adjust it to set time. Old air conditioning system that was hard to set a good temp, but you still pay $50 for parking and a fair bit for the night. Nothing to complain about but I am travelling again this week and am staying elsewhere Staff where good but the checking in and out was lengthy

On the whole as expected, however Sydney hotel prices seem to be somewhat exorbitant at the present moment and yours is no exception to that, especially given the condition of the bathroom. Sadly the bathroom was not really up to standard (but likewise not worth making a fuss about) as the shower cubicle leaked water onto the floor, along with cubicle fittings requiring a very good scrub down due to age of the door and frame fittings (replacing is probably a very good idea). I work in hotel education (BMIHMS) so perhaps I'm overly critical, but I would not pass my students if they presented the bathroom as it was. Otherwise the rest of the room was presented well and staff remembered who I am from last visit, so that was nice and great CS :) Finally, I'd advise start to think about upgrading the entire hotel technology level since saflock cards are going the way of the dinosaur. On arrival to our room the bed was unmade. It had a dirty mattress protector and the pillows were shoved in the cupboard. The rollout bed was made up. We rang reception and they promptly moved us to a clean room. We arrived after 6pm and due to the inconvenience were late for an engagement we had in Sydney.

Unfortunately the toilet leaked from the second day. And a bit smelly. I I told the office, but one of the casters had come of a bed and my daughter fell off as she leant backwards. A microwave would be helpful

I had a hotel credit because I was not able to stay for the second night. But I have not been able to get to Sydney to use it for reasons being ,bushfires then flooding and now coronavirus. I don't stay in hotels very much at all and I found the staff getting annoyed, while I was trying to work out access to elevators to cars and rooms. A little patience for new guests goes a long way.
