Reception staff were lovely. Convenient location. The bed was comfortable. However, the shower definitely needed attention, floor and corner tiles looked like they needed a splash of bleach and a good scrub. Very noisy in the room from constant door slams in hallway. Maybe some foam door silencers could be installed on doors if possible, to reduce loud constant banging heard inside the room when trying to sleep.

Basic room. Room was not entirely clean, Paint peeling and bathroom very dated. Only one power-point socket next to one bed. Had room service breakfast once as it was cold plain toast (no butter) and cold egg next to it at $20 and a coffee in a takeaway cup. The reception area and bar area were nice enough and staff were friendly.

Window didn’t have a curtain to block out the morning sun. Even with the blind down it was still strong. Also needs some fixing , like towel rail half coming off the wall…. Bits and pieces like that. Felt like it was a cheaper hotel.

Overall, the hotel was great. Tasty breakfast, clean room and friendly staff. The room lacked enough power points (only 2 in bedroom by the desk) the TV could only be turned off at the main power point as the remote didn't turn off the power.

We arrived quite late after a long drive. Staff were very helpful heating our prepared food (restaurant had closed) and even providing us with cutlery and plates. Our room was clean, quiet and beds comfortable. Car parking was easily accessible and helpful being located close to the event venue (athletics) we were attending meaning we could leave our car there for the day.
