The room was really smelling bad. We got in late the night, tired and just wanted a good nights rest. We drove for 12 and a half hours from Gold Coast to Sydney through the terrible rain just to find the rooms carpets wet (really wet) and room smells as if it had been closed for couple of months. We always choose your hotels but it's the first time that it was so bad to fall asleep with the nifty smell just nxt to the beds. I must say we had a good stay at the last Budget in princess highway. The place was spotless and the staff great where we stayed 7weeks.

I was given room 301, 2nd floor and the noise from outside was quite bad, at first I though the window was open but it was firmly shut. I was shocked to realise it was in fact a double glazed window, so the noise couldn't have been from the window. There was an old aircon unit above it which had no instructions how to use and was quite dusty. I believe the noise was coming through the vents of this.

There location and check in experience was good. Pillows on the bed were very thin and when we asked for an extra pillow we were told they would check and come up to our room. No pillows were brought up, but we also had no one come to tell us there wasn’t any available which would have been nice as we were waiting. Otherwise, the stay was good.

My stay has always been pleasant at ibis enfeild, as I have stayed at this ibis over 20 times, my only concern was I’ve been approached by an Asian receptionist rudely on Sunday morning and felt very uncomfortable I hope she can get more experience and deal with clients like me in a more professional and welcoming manner.

Air con did not cool room. Room had many mosquitos. Bedding and size of room was fine.

The experience was very bad. The room was very small and so was the toilet. The sink was in the room instead of the toilet which was very weird. In the toilet there usually would be shower gel and conditioner in other hotels but there was none in this hotel which was annoying because we had to go to the shops to just get conditioner and shampoo. The costumer service was very bad as well, there was no phone in the room, you would have to walk three storeys just to ask a question.I would never stay in this hotel again!!

When i checked in there was no hello all i got was i need your licence nothing else, was completely rude. Qhen i booked i was tild the room was bug enough to store all our stuff as we drove from WA. No where to sit outside and have a drink with friends.

The location was perfect as I needed to visit friends both North and South of Sydney and Ibis Budget Enfield was in the middle . First time staying in Accor Ibis budget accommodation as I was by myself the room was quite adequate and the price for Sydney was very good value . The breakfast also was very adequate and easy to access plus the staff and service were very good . Would stay again .

iot was good. However, the fridge in room 125 l think was noisy that l had to unplug it over night

Making the booking was easy and no hassle. Didn’t receive a booking confirmation so I called back within the hour of making the booking to ask for a confirmation email. Couldn’t get in contact with the Strathfield IBIS for the next 7 hours. I called 12 times and left 2 voicemail. I didn’t get a call back. I can’t believe a business like this can’t answer a phone. It’s unbelievable that you would miss 1 call let alone not answer a phone for 7 hours, That’s unbelievable. The rooms were fine, clean, nothing flash but good value for money. The Air conditioner was very loud. It was similar to having a car engine running in your room all night. But it’s a budget motel and a cheap Air con unit so it is what it is, but a new air conditioner would make the stay a lot better. My main gripe was that I am a shift worker. I knew a few days out that I would be working a night shift going into my day of departure. I went to the front desk and spoke to the guy about a late check in. I knew I would get back to my room at around 4am so he said I could get a late check out at 11 but any later would be $20 per hour after that. I was very happy with that so he made notes of a late check out on my account. I got back to my room at 5am after my shift and set my alarm for 11am. At 9:30am I had house keeping knocking on my door wanting to clean my room. Obviously this woke me up and I told them I had organised a late check out. I then went back to bed. At 10.20am I got another knock at the door by the girl on reception, yet again asking when I was checking out. After this I just packed my stuff and checked out then drive home for the next 10 hours with bugger all sleep. Would I stay again? I don’t know. I’ve stayed with the Accor group for many years on business trips. This has left a bad taste in my mouth for sure.
