Our stay at ibis Strathfield was absolutely unacceptable due to the extreme lack of cleanliness. The room was incredibly filthy from the moment we arrived. The bunk bed was thick with dust which triggered an allergic reaction in my child, likely caused by dust mites (causing her suffer from hay fever and we had to run her to the doctor). This alone is concerning especially for a hotel that accommodates families. The bathroom was even worse there was human feces on the bathroom wall which is beyond disgusting and completely unhygienic. The walls throughout the room were covered in greasy splatters, clearly never wiped down, and every surface was heavily coated in dust. This wasn’t a minor oversight or a missed spot it felt like the room had not been properly cleaned at all. The overall condition was unsanitary, unsafe and shocking for a hotel operating under a known brand. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you are travelling with children. This experience was deeply disappointing and frankly revolting.

We stayed at Ibis Budget - Enfield knowing that it was only a short drive from Qudos Bank Arena where we were attending a Concert. The room itself was small and the bathroom reminded us of a Porta-loo which if anything we found comical. The bed was comfortable and after initially having a room without working airconditioner or television we were relocated to another room where we had no problems. The staff were friendly and accommodating of our group booking. We had purchased the additional breakfast option, however didn't all have breakfast at the accommodation. I note there is various options available, toast, pancakes and pastries. For the price we paid for our 2 nights of accommodation, we found this accommodation to be good, whilst keeping in mind that it is an Ibis Budget so is a very basic and affordable accommodation option - if you want fancy and space do not book your accommodation here, if all you are after is a clean and tidy room with a bed and accessible toilet and shower this is for you. I note that late night arrivals can be quite loud in the hallways and the doors close heavily so can also interrupt your sleep if you are not a deep sleeper through the night. We cannot complain about anything during our stay and would stay here again. Thank you

The depth of the water closet were too short that I couldn’t feel comfortable to use it as a male. So I had to use the one at McDonalds across the street throughout my stay. Also the was no air vents in the toilet which created a strong stench in the room after using the toilet or bathroom. Also the receptionist appeared quite dismissive and tired when talking to. And therefore such an attitude from him was not very pleasant for first time guests like myself and colleagues. Overall it also seemed quite expensive on booking.com than booking on the hotel website.
