My room was clean and tidy and a little larger than what I was expecting, so was pleasantly surprised when I first got in. As I settled down for the night, I became aware of a cigarette smoke wafting into the room. I checked that the window was shut and checked that it wasn't coming in from the corridor. I even tried turning on the ancient air conditioning unit, which definitely didnt help. It was so smoky that my nose and eyes starting running and I started coughing. I eventually got to the sleep, but it was a terrible first night.
