We love staying at the Pullman when seeing an NRL game, location is so convenient. This trip we had time to catch the train to Parramatta for a movie and shopping, and dining at the Bacar Restaurant for breakfast and dinner never disappoints 👍🏼

Location perfect but service not as good as previous. Room surfaces were visibly dusty - side tables, small shelf above glass table, window seal etc. Also, had to request fresh towels on 2 and 3 occasions. 45 minutes for room service for steak sandwich at 9pm. Just lots of little things that we have not experienced before.

Called reception for a single fish and chip dinner via room service. Was told half an hour wait. Had to call back 45 minutes later to find out where it was. Reception called back 5 minutes later to apologise and tell us it would be another 15 minutes. The food was good though once it did arrive. The salt shaker provided however was full of a large ball of damp salt that looked as if it had been sitting in the salt shaker for a very long time judging by how dry and crusty the bottom of the shaker itself was when we removed it to try and get at the salt. Goodness knows when the last time was that someone opened it to refill the thing. It looked as though it had been in that condition for years. The salt itself just jiggled about inside the shaker as a solid ball, with absolutely no salt even attempting to escape from the single hole in the top of it. We ordered breakfast for two for the next morning. Fried eggs on toast, and scrambled eggs on toast, both of which came with fried tomato and hash browns, and we ordered a coffee, and a glass of juice. The fried eggs and the scrambled eggs both tasted a bit iffy as if they were borderline past their expiry dates. The sourdough toast was barely toasted. More like warm bread. Absolutely no butter was provided. The bread itself was wet and soggy under the eggs. The hash browns were soaked in a sickly flavoured cooking oil. The coffee was vulgarly strong and bitter, even after adding the entire contents of the small cup of skim milk we ordered with it. After breakfast we felt slightly ill for the rest of the day. The entire breakfast was revolting. We also were supplied with another salt shaker with the same problem as the night before. So we now had two salt shakers full of stale old damp salt, the one from the night before, and one from breakfast. We were also given, with two seperate breakfast plates, just the one cloth napkin to share between two people. Gross!!! All up, for the one slow to arrive plate of fish and chips, plus two plates of inedible breakfast, an undrinkable coffee, the juice and two small bottles of Coca Cola that we had from the room's bar fridge, we were charged a total of $102.41. What an absolute rip off for mainly sub par, low quality food, that was barely fit for human consumption. Worst food experience we've ever had anywhere. You should be ashamed of yourselves for serving up crud like that, especially at the ridiculously high end prices you charge. Checkout was ridiculously slow as well because we'd been given a cup of tea with breakfast that we didn't order and didn't want to be charged an extra $6 for it, so we couldn't use the express checkout box and then leave as we had to query the price we were going to be charged. Only one girl was on reception and she was too busy dealing with someone else who was having issues with payments, so we ended up standing around for 10 minutes waiting to get seen to. The room was fine, but there's no way we can recommend anything to do with room service. As already mentioned, what we did eat of the breakfast left us feeling ill for the rest of the day.
