As the same aftershave scent was experienced across multiple rooms and floors, despite our team checking and assisting, we were unable to identify a source within the rooms and believe it may have originated from personal belongings. Regarding the air conditioning, the fan speed and temperature can be adjusted in-room, and had this been brought to our attention, our team would have been happy to assist with the settings. The staff was very helpful at a short notice due to wanting to change rooms twice due to uncanny aftershave smell in the rooms particularly at night and noisy and very cold aircon. The room service food was nice but expensive. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower had a good water pressure and the toiletries were of excellent quality and it smelt nice. I got upgraded too to level 6 and 7 so was happy about that. The room was a bit too dark for my liking. Overall it’s a good hotel in south west Sydney .

The stay was nice , I’ve stayed here a couple of times but I paid an extra 40 for nothing as it was the same as the superior and as well I asked for a bathtub numerous times before and after investigating on your website the superior room which is what I usually book some do have them and I was lied to by the staff there that bathtubs are only in the suites

I could hear and see the poker machines from the lobby which was very upsetting. Then, my room door broke and I couldn't get into my room 3 times. The staff just changed the key cards rather than listening to me and realising it was a mechanical issues - not a swipe problem. There was also a problem with the light switches illuminating randomly right next to the bed which woke me up. I made complaints which the hotel has kindly been dealing with.

Despite having a room that overlooks a brick wall, there are two areas that could be improved. Firstly, the toilet flush button is concealed beneath the lid, requiring guests to touch and lift the lid each time they need to flush. A more practical design would have the flush button accessible without needing to handle the lid. Secondly, the bathroom drainage system appears to need attention. Water does not drain away effectively and overflows onto the bathroom floor, extending into the toilet area. This may indicate a blockage or a drainage design issue, but it significantly affects the bathroom experience.

Overall, the hotel facilities are new, clean and well maintained. However, unfortunately, the customer service and communication were disappointing. I arrived at the hotel early at around 1:15 and understood that early check-in could not be guaranteed. However, I was asked to come back at 3pm. Before I could even be assisted, I had to wait around 10 minutes, as there was only one staff member handling check-in for three to four groups. Given the hotel’s 4.5-star positioning, I found the arrival experience quite disappointing. I contacted the hotel by email in July regarding my birthday stay and was advised that a bento cake would be provided. However, upon arrival, the front desk staff said they had not received any information about the arrangement. What was particularly disappointing was the tone of the interaction, which made me feel as though I was not being trusted and was simply asking for a benefit that I was not entitled to. When I arrived in my room, there was a chocolate cake on the table. While I appreciated the gesture, there was no clear explanation or acknowledgement of the previous communication, which made the experience even more disappointing. I later received a call from the front desk to confirm my status and ask whether I had seen the cake. This gave me the impression that the front desk was not even aware of whether the cake had been placed in my room, highlighting a lack of internal communication between the hotel teams. As an Accor Gold member with an ALL Accor+ Explorer membership, I found this level of service very disappointing, particularly for a hotel marketed as a 4.5-star property. I also asked about a room upgrade as part of my membership benefits but was advised that no upgrade could be offered due to the long weekend. I understand that upgrades are subject to availability, so I have no issue with the upgrade not being available. However, the overall communication and handling of my birthday request were disappointing. This was a birthday trip, and unfortunately, I did not feel that I received the level of service or member experience I would reasonably expect from a 4.5-star Accor property. The facilities may be excellent, but the customer service and internal communication significantly affected my overall experience.

The hotel is in a great location, with plenty of amenities and excellent restaurants. It’s close to Cabramatta, making it easy to enjoy a stroll and some delicious Vietnamese food. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. What I liked most was how quiet it was—the rooms seemed well soundproofed, and I didn’t experience any noise disturbances. A lovely place for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
