We had to change rooms when the door wouldn’t stay closed and lock. Rooms are very small and old. 6th floor smelt of stale cigarette smoke and mould. These are definitely budget and you get what you pay for but needing to change rooms for simple security was poor.

After Booking in noticed the stop go light to enter carpark never went green no matter how long you waited. Despite having room being upgraded to king sized bed, found the room needed some maintenance and attention. Then two hours after checking in got a phone call from the front counter staff wanting to know if I was still requiring the room as I hadn't checked in.

We waited at reception for half hour for someone to arrive at the desk (from outside) to check us in. While needing to get to a show. While I understand the precinct was busy with events and hence the hotel was full, to be told that there no blankets for the bed for my kids, left me speechless. In a busy location as this and charging high rates for a budget product, the least I would expect is that the hotel has the resources to cope with the occupancy. Not blankets for a bed? Left with just a sheet, my kids were cold and needless to say, we all slept terribly.

My stay was extremely disappointing from check-in through to check-out. Unfortunately, almost every interaction and aspect of the stay fell well below the standard I would expect from an Accor property. Check-in was very unwelcoming. The reception experience gave me the immediate impression that my business was not valued, and this unfortunately continued throughout my stay. The reception team were unprofessional and did not demonstrate the level of customer service I would expect. The common areas were not clean, which was particularly disappointing. More concerning was that my room was never serviced or made up at any point during my stay. I had also arranged a late check-out until 2:00 pm. Despite this, I received a knock on my door that morning asking when I would be checking out. This should have been clearly recorded in the hotel’s system. Even more frustratingly, I was then locked out of my room before my agreed 2:00 pm check-out time. Overall, I felt completely undervalued as a guest. The lack of basic housekeeping, poor communication, unprofessional reception service and failure to honour my agreed late check-out made this a terrible experience. I would expect considerably more from an Accor property and, based on this experience, I would never stay at this property again.

You're definitely paying for the location. I know it's a "budget" hotel, but when you pay over $400 for 1 night, you expect to have all beds made (bunk beds were not made), the blankets for the bunk beds were covered in hair & had stains on them, beds were very hard & uncomfortable, & the bunks were loose & squeaky when you move. We were going to give feedback face to face, but no one was at the reception desk when we checked out. I don't recommend staying here at all. It was a waste of money.

We stayed in Room 329. While the room size met our expectations and was satisfactory, the rest of our experience was disappointing. The air conditioner was not working, making the room uncomfortably warm and resulting in a poor night's sleep. The pillows were also extremely thin and should be replaced. The most unacceptable issue, however, was the blind, which had been secured with tape. The tape came loose three times during the night, creating a loud noise each time and waking us repeatedly. Between the excessive heat and the constant disturbances, our sleep was continuously interrupted, making for a very unpleasant stay.

I have stayed here numerous times and been satisfied but this time I was really disappointed. The first night all went well, the guy at check in (who I assume was a manager) was absolutely amazing, in fact all the staff working the reception were all pleasant and lovely to deal with, however the second night of my stay is where it went downhill. There was a bit of a mixup with the housekeeping in the morning and she thought the room was vacant when I was still inside, however we quickly rectified the issue. Later on in the afternoon there was a school group that checked into the same floor as me, they were screaming, slamming doors, littering and running up and down the halls, which made the second night extremely unpleasant, it wasn't just the students either, the teachers were also yelling and swearing down the hallways. I have no idea what school they were from but what an embarrassment. I went and asked the receptionists to deal with it and they said they would contact whoever was in charge of them however they came back even louder and I could even hear them in the shower and there was actually another room in front of the bathroom in the room I had, which goes to show how loud they were being. Then the receptionist mistakenly told the housekeeper the wrong room as I had a late checkout, so I had to and get this rectified and due to the issue she said she would extend it 30 minutes, then the housekeeper came back at the original time trying to clean the room!!! I don't understand why she said I could have extra time if she didn't inform the housekeeper, they were also knocking on doors asking people to leave 10-15 minutes before checkout time as well which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay and not the standard I would expect given I have stayed here multiple times. The staff were all lovely but it was so frustrating.
