It was perfect for my daughter and I after taking her to her very first concert :) I love how close to the Afterpay arena or Qudos bank arena it was. Breakfast was yum and beds were like clouds

Stayed here with daughters. The room was small but beds were comfortable. The shower is practically in the room with a curtain, thankfully the toilet was enclosed. Staff were nice and helpful, and the parking on site was easy and convenient.

Asked 3 times over a period of 4 hours if it was possible to receive a cot for my child, Ibis website said cots are available on request. I was surprised staff weren't expecting me to ask as I entered my child's age (6 months) when booking online weeks earlier. I also paid for a late checkout due to the work commitments of my trip, to allow my partner to stay in the room with our son longer while I was away. She contacted me a few times letting me know the cleaners had knock on the door a dozen times through out the morning to tell her there was no late checkouts that day. It was very stressful for her and myself. Extremely disappointed with the service

There was someone else’s excrement on the shower tiles and body wash container. There was also mouldy manderines, open biscuit packet and crumbs on and all over the top bunk and a used south Sydney merch foam hat. All of this was bought to the attention of the reception staff and I was meant with indifference and a promise to follow up with house keeping. Not even an endeavour to clean the room asap. The human excrement in the shower was so gross and I insisted that none of use have a shower. I have photo evidence that I would love to send to you. For how much we paid to stay at the budget I will never stay there again

Unfortunately multiple issues with this stay - the carpets were stained, the front door to our hotel room was jammed and difficult to close, beds were not made up and we had to do this ourselves, pillowcase was stained, unable to get a second keycard for the room despite requesting it (booking was for 3 people) because the hotel was heavily booked and there were insufficient cards available. Premium price paid for this experience because of an event in the vicinity.

Stayed here recently and unfortunately it was a rough experience. As soon as I got into the room there was an overpowering smell, which turned out to be caused by a blocked drain, and it was bad enough that it was hard to relax or sleep properly. There was also no bin anywhere in the room, including the bathroom. This is a basic necessity for guests, including those needing to dispose of period products hygienically. The air conditioning wall control had no visible on/off button, so the only way to turn the unit on was to climb onto the bed and press a button directly on the AC unit itself. I was busy at an event and just wanted to sleep, so I didn't report these issues to reception at the time. Even for a budget hotel, I'd expect basic hygiene and functioning amenities as standard. Wouldn't recommend until these issues are addressed.

Very dirty room, they must only change the bed and vacuum the floor. There was shit smear left on the front of the toilet my partner had to clean of, when you wipe the coffee bench the paper was black. The milk left in the room was off and curdled in the cup, fridge froze everything and couldn't turn it down, no toilet brush, 1 half used toilet roll and no spare, no shower mat, hand towel or face washes, shower floor slippery and unsafe, there is a double door with the second door backing up on the basin, if you fall, and hit the door, it has potential to break on the vanity and you could fall on to broken glass.

I have stayed at Ibis Budget at Sydney Olympic Park many times so have a pretty good idea what to expect. Last stay, breakfast was included in the base price, but not this time. There was a fire alarm late on Fri night, but safety comes first which is good. My only criticism is that the bathroom shower stall floor could have been cleaner, as there were stain marks and other marks that would probably have been removed with a decent clean. Aircon was noisy too. But room was spacious, bed comfortable, staff very helpful and polite.

Had to exit the building twice for false fire alarms, aircon wasn’t working to have some cool air in the room as you can’t open the window which we asked for someone to have a look then had to ask again as no one turned up which then still didn’t work, bed uncomfortable only 1 very thin pillow Very bad experience at ibis budget would have to say the worst and I have stayed at a few
