The stay itself was great and experienced friendly service from reception staff and the room was comfortable enough for one person considering the location to attend events at Sydney Olympic park area. However post-stay I was unexpectedly charged $32.40 which showed up in my credit card yet the hotel didn’t issue me any invoice or email to let me know what the charge. It was not until I enquired via phone and email that I was told it was incorrectly charged as they somehow omitted the fact I was using my accrued Accor membership points to lower my price. This is in unfortunate error that should have been avoided and proper invoice should have issued to explain the charge as now I have to wait for the refund process to happen hopefully.

I stayed for 2 nights. The price was reasonable given the SOP was in a busy time. The room is clean and of good size. The Wifi is good. The only drawback I found was the breakfast which did not offer many choices.

Budget should mean basic but clean and comfortable. Instead, this hotel is a complete dump only saved by its location. The carpet is a literal biohazard and smells like a neglected 1970s youth hostel—I didn’t dare walk on it barefoot. There were no blankets, and everything is so dirty I had to use my own sleeping bag.

No reception at front desk upon arrival, no bell to ring so wasnt sure how to get check in. I walked around the desk and knocked on the door. The reception staff seemed annoyed that I had done that, but how else would I get their attention

Was comfortable stay, needed to be at Olympic Park so perfect for us, room was clean, the parking was very expensive at $40 per day plus bank charges. Didn't do breakfast so can't comment on that. Only get a service on day 3, I was told you need to ask at time of booking in, but did get some more tea and coffee plus doona after asking at reception, the gentlemen at reception can't remember his name was very helpful and polite Overall stay was good
