A pity that upon arrival and check in I had to pay 100 euro deposit on my card. In case I break something in the room I was told. I am 45+ years old, well educated and All Accor member…. My French colleague who checked in same day did not have to put this deposit in. It did not feel welcoming and I felt discriminated. A pity because overall the hotel is fine. New, good room, all ok. Breakfast ok.

Regarding the deposit policy, there is no discrimination based on age, nationality or gender. We ask it to every guest that come to our hotel, All Accor members or not. We did not ask this to your colleague because we already have that information in advance si we did it before arrival. For the other reservation, this one was pre-paid, and due to the RGPD law, the credit card details are not transmitted to our software, and we have to ask it again upon arrival.
