We were surprised that we only had one towel in the bathroom between two of us! And there was not a floor mat for the shower!! The staff were nice the meal OK but expensive bottle of wine as no house wine.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast good. We were in 218 on 2nd October and it was quite noisy with planes and lorries. We had the window open as the we could not turn down the temperature

We have stayed in this hotel 2 or 4 times each year for 20years. Sadly, all we see now is declining standards in spite of the redecoration/refurbishment a few years ago. This trip. No hand towels in the bathroom The shower bracket was broken and the shower head had to be deployed by hand. Most unsatisfactory. This problem not mentioned by reception I couldn't get the heating/air con to work Last trip in June No towels at all in bathroom. Rectified after 30minutes by reception. Restaurant closed on Sunday which has become a permanent feature

Good welcome, sign-in all ok. Sadly room 203 had half the lighting out and more important the shower fitting was broken and clearly had not been picked up as requiring attention.
