We stayed in this hotel for just one night, unfortunately this was already too long. I've stayed in quite a few ibis hotels and sadly this one was below their normal standard. The room was in need of a deep cleaning, showing signs of staining and dirt build up in corners. The bathroom was especially bad. All of the walls had also clearly gone uncleaned, with various dried liquids spattered everywhere. There was also a weird smell in the room and the sheets were too small for the bed, but the blankets too large. That said, the breakfast was great and all of the staff were well super helpful. The location is also perfect for travel by train, and surprisingly quiet despite proximity to the tracks. Overall, this hotel was fine but needs a deep cleaning. My parents also stayed in a separate room and it had the same issues described in my review.

Having checked in online the process at the reception desk was quick and two very polite and friendly members of staff. As we collected our key we were invited to partake in a coffee and some pastries - a great touch and one I have not experienced at an Accor hotel previously. We had a room on the top floor (8th) with a magnificent view over Mulhouse and a fully functioning lift. The bed was the usual comfortable mattress and linen and we were surprised at how spacious the room was. The shower was powerful and we had a great rest for two nights. Breakfast was excellent with everything we have come to expect of IBIS Styles with friendly staff topping things up as the service went on. Our bags were left in a secure room prior to departure and we were able to avail ourselves of the courtesy coffee before heading to our train. Being so close to the station and tram stops was a bonus for us and overall we had a brilliant stay. Would use this hotel again if in the area and also for visiting family in Basel.

Having stayed in many Accor hotels, I was a bit disappointed with the Ibis Styles in Mulhouse. The room looked like the pictures and the size was fine but there were marks and hairs on the walls of the bathroom and it also hadn't been cleaned to the normal standard. There was also no privacy curtain, only the plastic holders.
