Good location, but needs some TLC

Convenient location for where I needed to get to, but for a Novotel, it is a L. dowdy, and is in need of renovating. It also has the somewhat annoying trend of having no dedicated check-in desk, just a roving member of staff with a laptop, that can never be found when needed.

No air conditioner, no frigobar, breakfast wasnt at Novotel standard at all

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on your stay with us. Unfortunately, it was far from meeting your expectations. Our hotel is not air-conditioned, but we do have an air-cooling system to limit the heat, but when it's very hot, the system unfortunately shows its limitations. I apologize for the inconvenience. It's true that in recent years we've experienced high temperatures that weren't so high 40 years ago when the hotel was built, which is why we chose not to air-condition. We do have minibars in our superior and executive rooms, but I suggest that you book this type of room in the suite, which seems to suit your needs better. Since the beginning of the year, the accor group has changed the breakfast service, which is different but fully compliant with the brand's standards. Hotel needs full refurbishment

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience. The hotel is tired and needs refurbishment. No air conditioning in the rooms with temperatures at 38C+ makes it impossible to sleep or even rest in the rooms. The restaurant offering is very limited (3 main items on the menu) and the breakfast was very disappointing too. We have stayed at this hotel and other Novotel hotels in the past and this was by far the worst experience we have had. This is a stop-off hotel for those on long road trips but I ended up leaving the hotel more tired than when I arrived. The hotel needs investment and upgrading as soon as possible. I won't be staying here again.

Prior to this recent stay, Novotel symbolized truth and comfort for me. However, following this particular experience, I find myself inclined to meticulously assess and enumerate up to ten considerations before definitively confirming any future reservations. It is regrettably disheartening to acknowledge the absence of air conditioning, especially during the sweltering summer months. My original intention for selecting this establishment was to procure a restful overnight sanctuary amidst my travels to the Netherlands. Regrettably, this objective was not realized as the ambient warmth significantly impeded my sleep quality. Moreover, the presence of insects within the bedding further exacerbated the ordeal. The night unfolded as an exceptionally tumultuous one.
