Friendly front office staff. Complementary bottle of water on arrival in refrigerator. Free parking at hotel. The restaurant chain “au bureau” is adjoined to the hotel and has a lovely outdoor terrace. Friendly servers, ok food, good happy hour. Rooms smell stuffy, safe not working due to low battery. Fortunately air conditioning worked well. Toilet seat not straight as shown in previous reviews. Isn’t there a monthly quality check from housekeeping? Coffee and tea not refilled.

The receptionist refused to provide medical assistance. We had a cycling race that day and my brother fell. He went to see a doctor and received the advice to put ice on his painfull wrist. We went to the reception and ask for ice cubes. The receptionist refused to give us ice cubes given 'it was too busy in the bar he said. We couldn't believe our ears. When checking out I confronted the receptionist agianb with this and he reacted arrogant and repeated his point of view 'It was too busy' Furthermore, thee sauna wasn't working on Sunday morning. I've asked for this and they said 'it will be ok in 15 min'. When going back to the sauna: it still wasn't fixed. The sauna is a minor issue compared to the refusal op providing ice cubes

i enjoy the stay in mercure belfort but they didn't refill the water everyday, and when i ask to staff to get the water and explain about that. she seems annoyed and charged the water bottle.
