I stayed with my partner just for 1 night (Saturday). The rooms was clean and spacious, the coffee machine a nice addition - hence Novotel choice. However, I had an issue with car park and the member of staff was not helpful (and a little patronising). I booked the room+breakfast online, pay at the hotel rate: £140. The parking was supposed to be 18 euro. Yes, I was charged a total of £164! When I tried to challenge this, the person at the reception told me "of course, it is because of the euro/pound sterling change!". 18 euro does not equal £24! I am not happy with this. Also, at 9.50am, staff were hurrying customers to use the breakfast buffet because "it is about to close". I have been an accor clients for some years, not my best experience!
