The Ibis shares the facilities of the Mercury (4*) therefore you have access to a 4* paying a 3* rate. Starting from the check in process: it’s smooth and fast, you can check in online before arrival and, if you prepaid like we did, you just have to settle the city tax and collect your key. We arrived at 2PM knowing that check-in starts from 3PM, no expectation to have a room ready and Yassine gave us the key because the room was already available. Since it was our first time in Rouen, he gave us tips on where to go and that was definitely a plus. The guy really knows how to go the extra mile! Concerning the room, it was tidy and the A/C worked pretty fine. Don’t expect a super cold room but we managed to cool it down by 11PM when we went to sleep. The bed was a king size but made of 2 big twin beds, with nice toppers. The toppers tent to separate during the night but it was never too uncomfortable and housekeeping did service every day: as a result, the bed was perfectly in shape every night. The breakfast buffet is varied and fresh. Never too crowded and constantly refilled. Overall, great value for money and nice service. I definitely recommend this hotel !
