The most complicated set up ever!!! This is 2 hotels trying to be one, it doesn't work. Some of the lifts go to one side of the hotel and some of the lifts go to the other side of the hotel all with the same room numbers, so you think you can get to your room from all lifts but you can't. The car park lift is just as confusing!! The receptionists were very helpful and checked us in very professionally. However the bar staff and restaurant staff were so rude!! I picked up menus whilst we were sat in the bar area passed then around to our party (4 people in total) so we could decide in advance of sitting down. The waiter came over to me took the menus from us and said we couldn't just help ourselves and his attitude was just so rude! There were no pumps working for the beer so we had to have bottle beer at a much more expensive cost! There were no refreshments at all in the room, no safe, the shower wouldn't stay in position so had to be taken off and used by hand. Drinks were expensive. The pavements are very uneven outside the hotel, my friend tripped and broke her wrist. We walked into Rouen (took about 15 mins). We walked past cafes with groups of men sat outside staring a we walked past it was very unnerving. We had a very quick look around Rouen and the cathedral brute making our way back as we didn't feel comfortable and certainly didn't want to be out after dark. It's a very dirty city and not one I would visit again and I certainly wouldn't return to this hotel!!

Leaking sink and broken air conditioning

Hotel reception staff very helpful on arrival and the breakfast was very nice. Experience was let down by a leaking sink which meant the bathroom space had a flooded floor, The hotel staff must have been aware of the issue as there was a bin placed under the sink. This was the only bin in the hotel room so we moved it to another place. We then realised why it was placed there too late. The air conditioning was so ineffective it made the room hotter, we had to switch the AC off and open the window, our room faced into the main road so we had load traffic noise all night which was marginally better then the room being too hot to sleep in! All the same it was an awful nights sleep.

We stayed 1 night on our way through France. Under ground car park available, just off dual carriageway. About 1 mile walk to the historic centre and bars and restaurants. Breakfast ok and gluten free bread on request. Bed comfortable, room very sound proofed, shower good

We have been expecting a good service and: it was so good that we didn’t want to leave after the planned stay of one single night. Especially the Acceuil was so nice. One of the staff explained us the possibilities of visiting Rouen. Thank you very much for that. We’ll come back soon and we are planning our stay in Troyes in August at IBIS Troyes.

Rouen is a fantastic atmospheric and beautiful city. Hotel is practically located and reasonably priced.

Very helpful staff and service, great location for walking access to historic centre of Rouen, bars and restaurants etc. Free electric car charging in the car park (deposit required) and sustainability built in to many aspects of the hotel, soaps, towels, refillable tea bags etc.
