This convenient location makes it easy to explore Rouen and enjoy its main points of interest. We fully understand your disappointment regarding breakfast if some products were no longer available when you visited. When you brought this matter to the attention of our reception team, your comment was duly taken into consideration. Although the reception team does not manage the restaurant service, our team contacted their colleagues in the restaurant to pass on your feedback and report the situation. However, as breakfast is served as a buffet, some products may not be replenished towards the very end of the service, as was the case during your stay. This helps us to limit food waste while maintaining the quality and freshness of the products offered. We nevertheless understand that this can be disappointing when arriving towards the end of the breakfast service and finding that certain products are no longer available. We will once again share your feedback with our restaurant team so that they can remain particularly attentive to this point. Regarding the waste bins and apartment cleaning, we would nevertheless like to clarify how our establishment operates. This is a system specific to the Adagio brand and is applied across Adagio properties: for stays of fewer than 7 nights, daily housekeeping is not provided in occupied apartments. This information is clearly stated at the time of booking, both in the offer description and in our terms and conditions. As part of this system, guests are asked to empty the bins they have used and take them to the designated waste disposal area. Guests are also asked to leave the kitchen area clean after use, in accordance with the operating concept of an aparthotel. We can certainly understand that this system may come as a surprise or be inconvenient if you are not familiar with it. However, it is an integral part of the Adagio concept, which is particularly suited to longer stays and is designed to provide guests with greater independence and an experience that feels more like being at home. This does not mean that our housekeeping team is not present at the property: our teams are indeed on site and ensure the cleaning and maintenance of the common areas and apartments according to the conditions applicable to each type of stay. We regret that this system, despite being clearly stated at the time of booking, did not meet your expectations and contributed to your overall impression of your stay. Regarding the parking, as our underground car park has a limited number of spaces and is shared by both of our properties, Novotel and Adagio, we have chosen not to accept advance reservations in order to ensure fair access to the available spaces for all our guests. We therefore recommend contacting us before your arrival so that our team can check the availability at that time. Should the car park be full, we will of course be happy to direct you towards the closest alternatives, such as the public Opéra car park, whose pedestrian exits are located directly opposite our hotel. Regarding the issue you experienced with the barrier, this can be caused by different situations, particularly when two vehicles are simultaneously positioned at the entrance and exit of the car park, or when the vehicle is not positioned directly in front of the intercom, as the barriers open by detecting the vehicle. We nevertheless understand that, even though the instructions are displayed on the intercoms, this may have made accessing and leaving the car park less convenient for you. Regarding the lift, we also understand your comment, particularly during busy periods. Waiting times can indeed be longer when several guests are using the lift at the same time, and we are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused during your stay. We actually have 43 parking spaces shared between our two establishments, Adagio and Novotel. This is precisely why the parking cannot be reserved in advance, as availability changes constantly depending on arrivals and departures. We recommend that our guests call us shortly before their arrival so that we can let them know about the availability at that time. It is true that arriving earlier generally increases the chances of finding a space, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee one. In your case, a group was staying at the hotel and had parking spaces exceptionally allocated to them as part of their seminar package. When parking spaces are included in this type of arrangement, they are reserved for the participants concerned. Regarding the Opéra car park, this facility is not operated by the hotel. It is a public car park that we recommend because it is located very close to the hotel. There are also several parking options in the streets around the property, subject to availability. We would also like to clarify the pre-authorisation mentioned during the stay. This is not an additional charge: it is simply a temporary hold placed on the card to cover any possible additional expenses during the stay. Its amount and terms are clearly stated in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale available on the Accor website, as applicable to the brand's establishments. The amount is automatically released if no additional charges are incurred, subject to the processing time of each bank. Finally, should you experience any technical issue or difficulty during your stay, please do not hesitate to inform our reception team. We are available 24/7 and, whenever possible, we will send someone to assist you and try to resolve the issue immediately.
