The rooms are small and vey plain. The bed was adequate but power sockets were located far away from the bed on different walls. There are no usb sockets. It is basic and very clean. And whilst dated well maintained. The staff were welcoming and helpful but at breakfast they are really stretched. The lift for six floors is tiny and only carries a maximum of tjeee people (barely with luggage. The breakfast is basic French but the dining area got overwhelmed Sunday morning. Having freshly squeezed orange juice in a budget hotel really raises the spirits. Overall a great stay for the price paid. I’d than the staff who make it friendly and welcoming. And .

A group of 4 of us (age range 59-62) who had booked single occupancy room for 1-3 Oct for an old friends reunion, received an email prior to our stay telling us that the lift was out of action and would hopefully be fixed soon. We had booked rooms with balconies which are on the 6th floor. When we arrived we were told that unfortunately the lift was still not working and we would have to use the stairs, which we did, several times a day throughout our stay. Neither of the two receptionists who greeted us on arrival suggested that we might wish to change rooms to a lower floor or offered to help us up the stairs with our bags, and there was no subsequent offer of help on checkout (despite there being plenty of staff available) I often stay in Ibis hotels as they are generally very dependable in terms of comfort etc but sadly I found this particular hotel fell short of the Ibis standards, mainly due to issues with the non functioning lift, but also around general room decor/comfort - the website is slightly misleading on both. The rooms were hot and airless as no air conditioning and it is impossible to have the balcony door open due to traffic noise. (Also the balcony door in room 65 does not lock) That said, hotel staff were perfectly pleasant and smiley and helpfully booked us a taxi for a trip we were going on Thurs 2 Oct. The breakfast was also very good. I look forward to hearing your response to this review.

The lift was out of order (they sent an email in advance) but it is a long way to the 6th floor. The hotel feels a bit tired and unloved. Nothing especially wrong but this one lacks something. Breakfast was fine. Location is good.
