Meets basic needs. Beware of shower door

Hotel is situated about 10 mins walk from cadet subway Station. It's situated in a small quiet street so it's advisable not to return too late to hotel. Got a warm welcome from reception staff abd a nice basket of chocolates with a handwritten message which is most appreciated. The bed and pillows are comfortable which is important for me. The 2 big minuses are the breakfast range and the toilet. The breakfast is heavily skewed towards cereal and bakery stuff. There is only a small selection of meat and hardly any vegetables. The eggs have to even bpil on your own, which is a big no no. It should be boiled beforehand or replaced with scrambled eggs. As for the toilet, it is a disaster waiting to happen. Understand that the hotel is in an old building and space for toilet is limited. But the shower door cannot be opened fully as it is partially blocked by the sink next to it. To make it worse the door is made of glass. If a guest accidentally slip inside the shower area and pushes against the door it will definitely hit the sink and break into pieces. The door should be replaced with acrylic ones to mitigate this.

Great location. Lovely, helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice welcome including handwritten note in room and some snacks. Loved the fact that tea and coffee is available at no charge on ground floor. I would highly recommend this hotel… One additional bonus would be a safe place to leave bikes as we had to leave them on the street.

The staff during our stay we so friendly, helpful and accommodating especially Lauren who went above and beyond. The breakfast spread was a pleasant surprise with very pleasant options and a great range including freshly squeezed orange juice. Thank you!

I booked this hotel for my Christmas trip in Paris 11 month ahead, try to secure a hotel in flexible rate (pay the hotel on arrival). Couple of weeks ago, I was traveling overseas for a long haul work trip, I discovered two emails from this property. First one is asking me to prepay for my 5 days booking (it is not the rate I booked for flexibility), second one is cancelled my booking with my response as I was traveling (less than 24 hours from first email). I do not want to stay in a property has no credibility, no trust. I guess if you want to stay here, think twice. I have booked someone where instead.
