The hotel is quaint and comfortable. Lovely staff are helpful and courteous at all times. The daily breakfast was wonderful and most importantly the bed was comfortable!

Room and shower very room very small but not unusual for the location. Everything was in good order. No fridge in the room. Used teabags were not replaced and powdered milk was terrible.

I stayed the night of 03/07/2026 after a booking mix-up with Hôtel l'Échiquier Opéra Paris - MGallery and was kindly referred to the Mercure. Check-in was smooth and the room was comfortable. The concierge team provided exceptional service when I lost my laptop in an Uber: they helped me leave a message for the driver, suggested places to buy a replacement, pointed me to the nearest police station, and—most importantly—kept me calm and reassured throughout. Thanks to their help, the driver returned the laptop to the hotel. Overall a great stay. Compliment: Special thanks to Harbab (apologies if the name is slightly off) — super friendly, extremely helpful, and truly went above and beyond to assist and comfort me.

You choose a boutique hotel over a chain when you want personalized service, local recommendations, or atmosphere matters more than standardized amenities. Our stay did not provide us with any of these. It exceptionally hot in the rooms with no AC available. The hotel is also not located in the best part of town so when I was told to just open my windows to let the “cooler air in” it was loud beyond compare. Not to mention the mosquito bites everywhere. I was recommended two restaurants to eat at and made reservations only to arrive to a glorified burger joint. I could’ve gotten the same food at a five guys. If you’re looking to not stay in a chain don’t stay here either

We are sorry to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations. Regarding the air conditioning, as we are currently still in the winter season in Paris, and at the moment our air-conditioning can only operate in the hot mode and in accordance with the requirements of our ecological label (Green Key). Should the room feel too warm, turning off the heating and allowing fresh air to circulate is usually sufficient. During your stay you were lucky to experience a sunny weather but it was exceptional and the temperature has gotten colder. I am rather disappointed by your comment about the restaurant since I personally took the time to provide you with several options for you to choose. After browsing the menu and making the reservation together we were expecting you to be satisfied. Please note that we did not recommend you a burger restaurant but most offer a homemade burger on their menu, this is a plate that you can find in almost all Parisian restaurants. I was surprised to learn of your dissatisfaction through your review, as during my follow-up the next day I understood that your experience had been positive.
