Location is great - walking distance to Galleries Lafayette and train station, with many dining options nearby. However room is extremely tiny and there was no ventilation inside the room. Mini fridge was also unplugged when I've wanted to use it to store a small slide of cake for later consumption. Bathroom is extremely tight. Shower area was not comfortable, felt smaller than the shower area in the cruise ship.

As we are located in a central urban area, some of our rooms are more compact, but we recognize that this may not suit every guest’s preference. We also apologize for the inconvenience regarding the ventilation and the mini fridge. The fridge should certainly have been ready for use, and we will review our preparation procedures to ensure this does not happen again. I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercure hotel opera Paris it was close to many subway stations and restaurants as well as venues and important monuments. I came to Paris for work and the check-in process was very quick as well as the Checkout. My room was clean and had all of the necessities I needed. The breakfast was very complete and available at the right time The only thing i might need to express is that you should provide the guests with some slippers for the room

The stay was good. I stayed in the room with balcony but The rooms were small for the price. The room was neat and clean and was enough but my only nitpicking is that they don't have iron box and board in the room given that it's probably a high end room also. Like i understand it's convenient to have an iron room but when I want to iron I'm rather happy ironing in my room. When I'm getting ready I'm not going to go down everytime to iron my clothes and come back to a different floor everyday so I guess it's good to provide it in rooms. Or at least have it given by housekeeping and collect it later if needed by another room. Because even smaller budget hotels are doing that. Apart from that nothing much to complaint. Front desk and all the other staff were nice. Recommended it to my friends as well who are going next month. And it's location and connectivity is also a plus
