Me and my wife visited Paris from the states. We were very pleased to find that the hotel was in a great location with a nearby metro station. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and had a room ready for us even though we’d arrive hours early. Loved the experience

Very well received on checkin. To pay with "chèques vacances" was something new for the reception guy but help has been provided by another member of personal. The hotel was undergoing renovations, but we weren't bothered by the noise during our stay (between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m.). Only certain floors were being renovated, so there was the smell and look of fresh paint. Breakfast included a wide variety of pastries, bread, cereal, savory items for an English breakfast, and fruit. The orange juice didn't taste very good; it was probably not fresh-squeezed but rather store-bought or industrially processed. In any case, the staff was very welcoming, polite, and eager to provide us with the best possible service.

The room itself was fine and comfortable but the hotel was having construction work going on. We were in room 406 and all the work was taking place on 3rd floor. We had to step over bags of plaster and tools walking up the stairs upon arrival. The worst part was that on the Sunday morning 10.05 we were woken up (08:45) with extremely loud construction noise including walls being sanded almost directly below our room. It was very loud and we couldn't speak without raising our voices. Continual banging and knocking went on until we checked out. This was not acceptable and was very disappointed in our stay. Had the hotel explained or moved us to a less noisy part of the hotel we would have accepted this. The fact that it was a Sunday and very loud was not good enough. I would like someone from Mercure to contact me to discuss this further.

Family friendly. We enjoyed having a room that was equipped with a double bed for us and a separate twin bed for our son. Super convenient and comfortable. Also the hotel is in a great location with much to see within blocks.

While the location is great and most of the hotel facilities as well, I will not come back again. The airco is not working for the whole hotel "due to the season". There was a lot of heat in the room and I was advised to open a window and put a ventilator in front of it. No minibar / small fridge, while it was advertised and something I look for when booking a room. No minibar available to be put in my room / no other room available to change to. Shower is great, but with my 1m90 I was constantly bumping my head against the shower head. Caused by the elevated cabin, which leaves limited space to the roof. No recognition at all of Accor Platinum status, even no welcome amenity.
