Very quite hotel very close to Paris center. Rooms are cleaned and all it's ok. Room rate are aligned with the Paris price center but the breakfast it's a bit too expensive.

I was upgraded and the room was ok But I had a terrible experience with the room service where I had to call 3 times, wait over an hour to finally decide to cancel it and go for dinner outside.

First time staying on Right Bank - all members of staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional - room was well appointed - hotel beautiful and conveniently located - all in our party had a most pleasant stay and would return.

The location was good and the hotel nice and quiet. Rooms were small even though we had a superior one, wouldn't want to stay in anything smaller! Bed comfortable, good shower. Reception staff were excellent. Only one very small lift which was always occupied. Breakfast was disappointing - often waiting on items to be brought out, first day eggs had just arrived and they were completely cold, order coffee it did not arrive. Staff busy but no one had a good overview of the breakfast and what needed replenishing. Bar was very quiet in the evening and therefore had not atmosphere which is a shame as looked lovely on the website.

We stayed for 3 days, the hotel is very clean and modern, keeping at the same time a Parisien character. We really enjoyed the service and the location and would definitely stay there again.

Spent 4 nights and would definitely stay again - great location with great standard of accommodation. Only downside was the cost of drinks in the bar , but loads of bars outside so not a problem!

On arrival I was treated shabbily. I paid for room and came me at 8am to check into the room I paid for and I was told it’s a no show. Felt used. I was ask to go for breakfast while waiting believing that the breakfast was part of accommodation only on check out to be charged for the five days. I expected the front desk to properly educate me on my rights on stay.

In order to improve with a smile, this is why you met Constance, our Executive Director Assistant. We didn't received the information of your morning arrival the next day, we made every effort to provide you with a room as soon as possible. In addition, your reservation included only 2 people and in the same way we have set up a room for 3 this same morning despite the hotel being full. Constance also offered you an upgrade to a suite, so our best category. I am sorry to read that you were not sensitive to this attention. Very poor service: no towels in the room on arrival, room not cleaned despite sign on the door, no toilet paper (ridiculous), rooms very small, mediocre breakfast and tried to charge us twice (at the end, they had to refund us).

Thank you for highlighting different aspects of l'Echiquier decoration and unique Belle Epoque architecture and of course the unbeatable location. I am deeply sorry that your stay has not been entirely up to your expectations. Let me just remind you that we dispose of larger rooms, such as in the Deluxe or Junior Suite category, where you can benefit of a very large bathroom, which often combines a shower and a bathtub and of course a large mini bar and a coffee machine. Rest assured that the issues outlined will be carefully reviewed and I hope to have the chance to meet you and make you change your mind upon one of your next trip to Paris. The whole experience was great. From the front desk to the amenities. I am particularly thankful for the great quality of coffee (6 days with two children). The restaurant was excellent and they were very kind and helpful. They let my son play on their piano and he was so happy. Thank you. We'll be back.

As a platinum member this hotel definitely falls below the standard I’m accustomed to from Accor. No early check in, no room upgrade, poor breakfast selection and only given one bottle of water for a 4 night stay. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is very pleasant, staff is pleasant but even in a superior room the coffee provided is instant coffee. I asked if it was possible to have a coffee machine and I was told the hotel was full and it was not possible to have one. I stayed at the hotel during 2 Parisian trips in March and April. I will not be returning again for my next trip. I have booked Mercure Hotel as they have proper coffee machines!

This hotel is located in walking distance from Gare du Nord, in a small street, looking squeezed between the Opera and other houses. But when you enter you are welcomed very friendly in a cozy and astonishing world of Belle Époque architecture. We particularly liked the bar/restaurant/breakfast environment and the elevator design.
