Was under expectations. Was difficult to understand different room options, photos were confusing (had different impressions according to the photos). Not really 4**** feeling. Breakfast OK. Bathroom with good quality.

Basic hotel in a good, but not great, location. Really small Reception, no restaurant, a bar that is only tended by the guy at Reception. Tiny old-fashioned lift, small and creaky corridors and small room. However, the room was comfortable and clean. Bed was very nice and comfortable and shower was good. I was only in Paris for 1 night, so this was a decent option. Breakfast the next morning was also quite basic, but tasty too.

We made a reservation for a family room with 4 beds, but received a double bed and a 'couch-bed'.

We made a reservation for a family room with 4 beds, but received a double bed and a 'couch-bed'. The later was a really bad bed to sleep on. It was thin and was bad to sleep on! Was a really disappointment. Also the breakfast was poor. If you started your breakfast after 9 o'clock, hardly any bread was available.

The room was fine but what I deplored is the way to get to the room the lift was really uncomfortable . No soundproof inside the room as I could hear people talking from other rooms

I booked my room quite late therefore I got a tiny room as the hotel was fully book. I mentioned it straightaway to the front desk and I changed the room the next morning. The team is lovely and will do everything they can to help.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was hot and there was no way to cool it down! Breakfast had lots of options. The room had plenty of light. The bathroom needed a new walk in shower. The tub was difficult to get in and out of. The location was good. We could walk to where we wanted to go.

The worst Mercury experience

The room was not clean. I had hair from previous people on the 2 seats and that made me seek. Not to say that the room wan't renovated for a very long time...I payed 470 euros for it... I've booked the hotel because we always use Accor Hotels when we go in holidays (this time, I created my own account - usually my wife takes care of hotel reservation - this time was for business reasons and I was alone).

The hotel was located centrally, and the staff were nice. I can't complain about that. But everything else was not even on par with a 3 star hotel. The breakfast that was paid for was just bacon, boiled and scrambled eggs. The price does not justify the facilities offered either. I stayed at a 5 star property in Zurich and Berlin for half the price and got more services. I understand Paris is expensive as well, and I don't mind paying extra. But give it a rating of 4 star hotel is a huge stretch. Overall, one of the mediocre hotels I've stayed at. The staff are nice and that's the only reason the experience wasn't totally bad.
