Small, modern and fairly new/renovated hotel. The smallest room i have ever experienced - ever - the bathroom was very small as well. No luggage space, a murphy bed would have made the stay more comfortable . Room was clean and staff great, very good breakfast. Great central location, quiet at night.

The breakfast was typical of what you would expect in Paris and to a high standard. The staff were pleasant and polite. it was a short walk from Line * Metro Grand Boulevard. I would stay here again when staying in Paris

Unworthy hotel, unbelievable that the Mercury chain owns such a hotel. No service and no conditions. Food at breakfast was rotten.

The comfort and well-being of our guests are our top priorities, and I regret that we were not able to provide you with the experience you deserved. I would like to address the points you mentioned in your comment. First of all, you booked a triple room, which, as indicated on our website, includes a single sofa bed as the third bed. All of our rooms are equipped with high-quality bedding designed to ensure the best possible comfort during your stay. Regarding your remark about the staff ignoring you, please allow me to clarify that our team did its best to assist you with your requests. However, we were unable to meet all of them. I would also like to mention that you did not come to the reception to discuss your concerns in person, except regarding the size of the room, but instead sent us an email requesting immediate resolution. Finally, you decided to leave after we offered you that option and refunded the remaining nights, as no satisfactory solution could be found. On behalf of the entire team, I sincerely apologize for not providing the quality of stay you expected. Please be assured that we truly did our best to assist you. Clean and stylish hotel but room was too small and noisy. Even though the hotel looks new and with a nice interior design, it remained too small and unpractical for my type of stay. Traveling for business, I need to work in the room and spend time in the room. However, once my luggage was open I could not circulate to the door of the room, and the desk was very small for conveniently working for a long time on it. Bathroom was also small and no space to put toiletries. Moreover, my room was located on the second floor and next to the street where there are several bars/restaurants leading to noise until later in the night. Plus, the curtain would not fully blackout the light from the street. Finally, even though the room looked nice, some attention to finishing details were missing: the curtain was lacking something to block it at the end of the rail, and would fall off if I push too far; the lighting was very bright and could have been softer for a more welcoming ambience. It is a nice hotel for tourist stay and when you will spend most of your time visiting the city, however not convenient for a work trip where you need to work in the room.

Dear Hotel Management, I would like to express my disappointment with our recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations. Reservation details: Hotel: Mercure Paris Opéra Lafayette Stay: October 7–12, 2025 Reservation number: PPNHDXWZ Name: Mr. Eyal Z. The bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable — you can clearly feel the metal frame through the mattress, making it almost impossible to sleep. My daughter couldn’t rest the entire night because of it. The room itself is very small, with barely enough space to move around, and no proper place to put toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was also disappointing. The selection was very poor, there was no table available for five people, and we had to wait almost 30 minutes for eggs to be served. As an Accor Gold member, I was expecting a much better level of service and care. Instead, the staff simply said, “If you’re not happy, go to another hotel and we’ll refund you.” That is not the kind of service I would expect from an Accor property. I would appreciate it if you could review this situation seriously and offer an appropriate resolution for this disappointing experience.
