Great stay at Pullman Downtown Dubai. The hotel is fabulously situated and our room on 19th floor had a fab view of The Burj Khalifa.

Pullman losing its trendy edge!

The hotel looks cool and funky - a Pullman theme. This one failed again. Only two restaurants and neither associated with the hotel so no guest eateries. The room 'suite' upgrade was nothing special as a larger bedroom would have been better. All in all - the Pullman brand seems to be non consistent globally.

Poor management and run down - needs renovation!

- Breakfast selection small and lacked variety each day - not 5* hotel quality at all! Even a la carte menu was always pre-cooked and cold. - Safety deposit box in hotel room stopped working many times and we had to call for help and wait - Bellboys/Valet/Concierge was rude to us when we declined hotel car for taxi - Sunbeds and towels around pool are extremely old and stained - Bathtub had a lot of grime and was clearly not cleaned properly - Front desk staff not very helpful. We waited in the lobby for a long time for check-in. They didn’t come over and tell us our room was ready. We had to go and ask after a long time - they replied the room was already ready. So why didn’t anyone tell us?? We were so tired and wife fell asleep in the lobby waiting. - One set of bedside USB ports were not working so everything had to be charged from one side - Privacy blind for bathroom window doesn’t work so everyone see everything at all times Generally poor management and very run down. Very much needs a renovation. There were probably more issues but this is all we can remember!
