We stayed at Mövenpick for a week, and the location is amazing. We really enjoyed living right in the center of Dubai (Dubai mall entrance is literally in 1 minute walk from the hotel). The rooftop restaurant is like something from a dream, but one evening we could not have dinner there because of a Ramadan celebration, and there were no available seats. Overall, our experience staying here was wonderful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was outstanding — everything was spotless and very well maintained. The location is unbeatable, right beside Dubai Mall, with almost everything within walking distance, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 24-hour store right across the street, which was super helpful for grabbing snacks or anything you might need at any time. The staff truly made the experience even better. Every time I called or needed assistance, they were quick, professional, and always on point. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The comfort level was excellent, and overall everything was just perfect. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

This was my worst experience at a Movenpick Hotel. 1. The main issue was that we had a theft of a wallet from our hotel room. The wallet contained cash, identity cards and bank cards. 2. There is a disconnect with guest services. Guest services called to ask if we were enjoying our stay immediately following us spending 4 hours with hotel security/Dubai police investigating the theft and making a report. This was insulting. Guest services also called at 12:05 to remind us of checkout time even though I had already arranged late checkout at 1pm with reception. Guest services told me to call reception again. I was NOT impressed. 3. Plastic water bottles were removed from our room even if they were not empty. This was of great inconvenience to us as we kept the bottles so that we could refill them and take them with us as we were out in the city. We did not want to carry around the heavy glass bottles provided by the hotel. Guest water bottles (especially if only partly consumed) should NOT be removed by housekeeping. This was a great inconvenience and does NOT make sense from a sustainability perspective as we wanted to reuse the bottles. Overall it was a very disappointing BAD experience at the hotel.
