All of your staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and I was especially touched by the care and support I received when I experienced a health issue. Your thoughtfulness in sending flowers the following day for a quick recovery truly meant a lot to me and made me feel genuinely cared for. We had a great stay. The rooms are clean & maintained by Mr. Youbraj. He is so attentive in all our needs thanks to him. All staffs are very professional & approachable. Foods are good but need more variety of selections. Hope to be back in the future.

The "Club" status I paid for was far below any standards I have experienced in international travels! Absolutely NO pride in hospitality or professionalism was a goal. I should insist on a return of my money for my room on the Club level!!!!!! The "Tea" time and the "Cocktail" hour offered very limited food choices, ran out of food and the food was on the cheapest level. Also, there were many children disrupting the Club Lounge ~~~ it should be for Adults only and children thould NOT be allowed.......or their families should be in a designated "family" area. The kids were dropping food on the floor, touching food on the counter and running between guests. Another need for improvement at this Sofitel was the dismal breakfast buffet. Where is the quality control??? The food was of the lowest, cheapest quality and nothing was special or elevated. The layout should also be improved. As for my room, the shower smelled of mold. The handheld shower cannot be adjusted for better height level. The stupidest decision was to attach the towel rack on the INSIDE of the shower door!!!!!!! Any logic would say the towel will get all wet on the inside of the door!!!! Hasn't anyone else complained about this idiocy??????? On the outside of the door is a small knob, too small for a towel to hang there. That only leaves the sink counter as a space to hold the towel while showering..... ridiculous! If all the room bathrooms are like this, what sorry hotel standards you have~~~ 2 star at best, definitely not 5 star. My room had a partial Burj view and was not worth the value for seeing the New Year's Eve fireworks. A huge disappointment for the money and anticipation. Again, I definitely request a refund for my entire reservation.
