There is a lot of bad things there. We were checked in the room without bed for my son (were selected 2 adults and 9 y.o. children). When I tried to ask for a different bed, the front desk told me they couldn't help me because if I didn't include children in my booking, she couldn't do anything. But, as I wrote above, I indicated both the child and his age. When I was able to prove this (which in itself is already amazing and outrageous), and we found all the information in their printout, we were moved to another room. Apparently, this room was used by guests with animals and was not cleaned. The beds were rumpled, the blankets were poorly made, the floors were not vacuumed, and the bathroom smelled of cat feces. One chair was broken (my son fell into it when he sat down), the curtain was torn a little, and there was no shower gel. I really wanted to sleep after traveling 1000 kilometers, and in the morning we had to get up early, and this apparently was the best that they could offer us here. There were no other hotels nearby. In the morning the breakfast was of questionable quality. The cafe employee met us and left and there was no one to ask anything. For example, I never found milk, I had to take it out of the coffee machine. The rest was conditionally normal, but... There were few people, and there seemed to be little food. It was also quite difficult to speak English at the reception; only every second person knew it well.

Nice stay!

Simcn Business - TripAdvisor review

Firstly, being English is perhaps not so good, in this part of the 'less touristic' Poland... that's all I can assume as I/we, have had much better experiences in other parts of the country, however... Here is the experience me and my colleague recently had: We checked in late, only ten minutes after the restaurant had closed and asked if the chef would offer some food - we were simply told no, but 'mcdonald's or KFC' was still open (this was after i explained that both me and my colleague had traveled from the uk much earlier on in the day) So we decided to sit at the hotel bar where there was an wedding reception on (we asked before going in, if that was ok and were told 'yes' - it was, to point out, the only bar), we sat quietly in the corner, while being dressed in suits, having a glass of wine and asked to initially polite barman to help us order pizza directly to the hotel - which he kindly did - as we had no other option to eat. Five minutes later we were asked to leave the bar (RUDE) and sit in an adjoining room until our food arrived. Our food arrived an hour later (no fault of the hotel) and i made my way into reception to pay for said pizza, where i was rudely followed in, by the barman and told that i could not take the pizza back into there bar - which he had already explained earlier and we said it was not something we would ever do - we do have manners!!!! He stood there until the entire transaction had taken place and then watched us until we walked up the stairs with our food to eat back in our room - totally out of order and no way to treat guests with such distain. They made us feel like uncomfortable on every level possible and all in-front of my hungry client. That evening i when i finally made it to my room, the temperature was stuck on 27c as the air conditioning was clearly broke... The wedding party also stood outside my room (which was on the first floor) for over 30 minutes at 2am laughing and shouting loud on the landing area, with no respect for other guests and even though the receptionist was only one floor down they must have heard this and said nothing and allowed it to happen - so no sleep was had. Next morning - breakfast... NO seats to sit on, NO staff to guide us, they just watched and said nothing!!! So we had to clear our own table, lay our own cutlery and eat what looked like scraps and left overs at only 8.45am, of course the remnants of the previous wedding party were well catered for - other paying guests did not matter clearly. We returned for night two, ate at the restaurant this time, again, unfriendly staff, no one came to our table for drinks, they made us stand up and ask for menus, food arrived cold, no apologies, took it away and replaced it ten minutes later without explanation - they offered no discount off the bill and never offered us dessert - (We noticed that 30 mins before the restaurant was supposed to close, they turned all the lights off in the kitchen and the staff just stood around talking - while customers sat there looking for service) - overall this was one of the worst meals, service and atmosphere i ever encountered - NOT 4* food or service. I then proceeded back to my room in this gloomy hotel and had to endure another night of excessively hot temperatures in my room (so clearly the reception had done nothing to fix it, when i complained that very morning ) only thing missing was the loud party outside my room at 2am this time. My opinion and that of my colleagues experiencing the same rude, uncaring attitude, is that if your are Polish then they might offer great service or a warm welcome but we certainly never found anything but a reason not to go back.
