I really liked the water fountain at the corridor where you can go and get both still and sparkling water. I really disliked the shower, there was a rain shower with low pressure and a handhold shower. When you have long hair this is hopeless, but I am sure it is ok for short haired people. And also that there was a window between the shower and the main room, that was weird.

I booked 2 rooms for our party of 4 but upon arrival the receptionist told me I had only booked 1 room. After showing her my email confirmation for 2 rooms and 4 adults she still told me my booking was for 1 room. After going round in circles for 10 minutes another staff member checked their screen and confirmed the booking was indeed for 2 rooms. The receptionist did not even apologise and found it funny. I wish I had taken her name and complained to the manager at the time but after been up since 4am we were tired and just wanted to freshen up in the room. We are also out on different floors and asked if it was possible to be on the same floor but were told it wasn’t. Also found that strange after having booked 2 rooms. She also explained that we couldn’t travel in the same lift as were were on opposite sides if the hotel but this was also not correct as the lifts travel to all floors. The cleaning staff were friendly and rooms were nice and clean but again both rooms were not the same and 1 was larger than the other so again both rooms happy about that. Location was ideal and only a 5 minute walk into the centre itself so ideal. Will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and wished I had booked elsewhere. Next time we will stay somewhere else as plenty of other hotels nearby

Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Bed was good but small pillows were unusual. The sink was slow to empty, so may be blocked soon. The free drinks for missing room cleaning could be better explained and putting an explanation on the door hanger sign would help. I put the sign on my door the first day but asked for the drink voucher the day before I left and was told as I was checking out the next day I could not have a voucher.
