Raffles Europejski Warsaw 5 stars

I have booked Raffles hotel for a stay with my wife for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We have met in this city and been studying there, as well as working during studies, so know the area very well. Also, I shall mention that we are both coming from Hospitality background and working within until now. I took my wife to Raffles Singapore few years back and now on the 10th anniversary I decided to try Europejski property as it is relatively new and we had a small stop in Warsaw. Good points: welcoming staff in the reception area as well as very helpful bell staff! Hotel seems luxurious and prestigious as Raffles should. It has a very nice pool area where we could relax and swim and at some point we were the only guests there, so it was a bonus. Another good point is, that being in quite a few Raffles properties around the globe, none could replicate a Singapore Sling... but Warsaw is extremelly close! It was delicious! Also, Warsaw sling was a great and tasty surprise! Definitely recommend! Weak points: Overall feel/atmosphere of the hotel is quite strange. Being a Pole I know that we don't smile that much, but I would expect it from the 5* hotel staff (apart from Front Desk and Bell Staff). Long Bar Bartenders did an amazing job with cocktails, but again they were lacking a smile, good chit-chat would be great considering we have been sitting at the bar. It just wasn't as welcoming as expected, although again - we had a decent time there. Carpet tear on the hallways (floor 3) should be looked into as it doesn't look great in relatively new property. Unfortunately, we had a cockroach in the bathroom which was found and killed by my wife. As I mentioned before we know hospitality world inside out so didn't make a fuss out of it, but extra measures must be put in place as it spoiled our experience slightly. Also, maybe I am being oldfashioned but spending 1600zl per room for anniversary and not getting a small sweet saying 'Happy Anniversary' was underwhealming - but again maybe I am following more of a western standards. Area for improvement in my eyes is Breakfast. We went there around 9 am and it wasn't busy at all, but it looked neglected. We stood for some time at the entrance before we have been noticed and taken to the table. Staff looked slightly confused and the offer (for the price) is poor. Haven't seen a limitation per person on the breakfast menu, but here we have been told one egg dish per person and one side. My wife took poached egg on sourdough and got literally three slices of pickled cucumber with it. Improving a variety on permanent buffet and presentation of egg dishes would be the first things I would recommned to look into, please. Was it a good stay? Yes - we had our celebration and it was nice. Would I stay again? Probably not. For this money I would try competitor from across the street. Raffles brand is already there - overall standards still lacking. Thank you, Pawel P.

They were very attentive and accommodating when it came to my wife’s allergies and went above and beyond at breakfast and lunch to make our meal times exceptional. Boźena even took our kids to the hotel patisserie for ice cream allowing us to steal 5 minutes to ourselves to finish our drinks. These touches go above and beyond and simply add to the exceptional experience for both children and adults alike. The staff are a credit to the brand. everything was very good ,....service ....staff ...but unfortunately my wife had upset stomach after breakfast ...it must have been the salmon on her eggs in the morning ....she was very ill next day...

As a returning guest we used our 2 Suite Night Upgrade in this wonderful hotel. We stayed in a Heritage Suite and it was a unique experience. Warmly welcomed by the extreme friendly and helpful staff we enjoyed our time in this very clean and beautiful designed suite. Everything was perfect beside a little disturbing thing: The light in the wonderful designed living room was only dimmable in two steps, so the mirror covered TV had a lot of reflections, which resulted in the fact that you had to watch Tv in a dark room. An improvement of the light system would be fine. The breakfast was fantastic and we definitely will try to come back in this very unique hotel.
