Bed is not as comfortable as in ibis. Also only one pillow provided.

Dear Mr. K., Thank you for your comments regarding your stay. We are pleased that you appreciated the location and style of the hotel. We are sorry that the comfort of the bed did not meet your expectations and that the number of pillows was insufficient. We will take this into consideration in the future. I stayed here for an Apashe concert in the nearby stadium so was looking for something affordable yet comfortable. The onus on being as environmentally friendly as possible was great; lots of recycling and your stay is pretty much self sufficient - the carafe in the room that could be filled from the fresh water in the hallway was absolutely perfect. The room was clean, well maintained and exactly everything I had wanted for a short stay. Everything in the room worked beside the air con dials, the lights had dimmer dials (this is a small detail but so, so important for someone who has light sensitivity). The bed was comfortable and supportive, no sagging, old spring mattresses here! My room had a nautical theme which I found amusing since I'm an ex sailor. I had initially thought the 'stripes' would be a bit overwhelming for me as someone with autistic sensory issues but once you're in there you really don't notice it at all. Also, even though my room was right next to the lift, I barely ever heard anyone even at night, so the sound proofing must be quite good. Breakfast is a buffet and it's very 'polish', with fruits (no bananas!), cold meats, cheese, eggs (scrambled and boiled), sausages, lots of bread and sweet things and some cereals. There's a juice maker, coffee and tea and a juice dispenser too. Sadly nothing gluten free so that's an issue if you're Ceoliac, or dairy free in terms of cheeses, but there's alternative milks and there's enough to eat for those with stomach issues, as long as you don't have allergies. The evening restaurant is *superb* - dinner dishes are served fast and every one was perfectly cooked and deliciously made. I had the tofu and rice noodles (feels weird to eat noodles with a fork but minor point) and the sea bream and both were absolutely gorgeous. There were plenty of alcohols available but I don't drink so I didn't look into it. Slight issues: 1) My only real gripe is the fact that the air con in the rooms is set to only heat in winter and only cool in summer and the dials in my room really didn't work. I'm very cold resistant so my only option was to turn the air con off entirely and open the window (extremely grateful the windows could be opened!) but the hotel backs onto a dual carriageway so it's *really* noisy during the day and early evening. 2) Also, my curtains didn't close completely, there was a 12 inch or so gap in the middle where the runners stopped so anyone with light sensitivity should at least prepare an eye mask. 3) Reception doesn't stock earplugs so don't forget yours, like I did. Overall, still a 9/10 for me - comfort level was still great even with the adjustments for the aircon and breakfast food. Staff are friendly, speak English (which I'm grateful for as my Polish is horrific) and will help out anywhere they can.

Thank you very much for such a detailed and kind review – we truly appreciate your words. We are very happy that your stay met your expectations and that you appreciated both the comfort of the room and our approach to sustainability. We strive to ensure that solutions such as the carafe with water available in the corridor genuinely improve our Guests’ comfort. We are pleased that the room was clean, well maintained, and suitable for a short stay. We are also delighted that you valued the adjustable lighting and good sound insulation – ensuring comfortable rest is extremely important to us, especially for Guests sensitive to external stimuli. Thank you very much for your comment regarding the nautical-themed décor – we are glad that the motif was not overwhelming and instead brought positive and amusing associations. It is also wonderful to know that the bed comfort was rated highly. Regarding breakfast – we continuously work on developing our breakfast offer to make it as friendly as possible for Guests with different dietary needs, therefore your feedback is very valuable to us. We are glad that the availability of plant-based milk alternatives and the variety of dishes allowed you to find something suitable. We are very happy to hear your opinion about our Winestone restaurant – we will pass your kind words regarding the selected dishes to our kitchen team. Such feedback is the greatest motivation for us to keep improving. Thank you also for your remarks concerning the air conditioning, curtains, and the lack of earplugs at the reception. We will certainly forward these comments to the relevant departments, as we constantly work on improving the standard of our rooms and facilities. Once again, thank you for the high rating and your kind words about our staff. We are truly pleased that you felt comfortable during your stay and could rely on our team’s assistance and friendly atmosphere. We sincerely hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the future. Kind regards, Wiktoria Margowska Guest Relations Specialist

Although the room was modern and as spacious as needed, it was too cold both in our arrival and during our stay. The reception gave a heater as a solution that wasn’t the solution we wanted. Also after checking in the room had spider webs through the ceiling and between the curtains something that wasn’t so satisfying.
