A well-located, pleasant hotel with good service and a nice swimming pool. Overall, we had a very good experience staying here.
The only disappointing part was that my daughter’s new toys went missing from our room during our stay. This was very unfortunate and took away somewhat from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Sadly no one explained how to use thermostat, so it only worked when key was not in slot. So I had to use cellphone flashlight to go to bathroom. 2 ND day finally tech man came to show me how to use and confirmed it was broken. Guests need to be more informed instead like things use to be.

Staff took very long to respond to queries over the phone. I had to call multiple times and still wasn't able to get help. Requested for pillows at night and toothbrush but was told that i will not be able to get them till the next morning. Very poor and disappointing service for a Sofitel.

We were greeted very nicely at the check in counter and the front desk staff was very polite. However, We tried to ask for more water to be delivered in the room using the app suggested by the hotel. No one arrived and it kept me waiting in the room for an hour. Then I tried to call the room service, no one picked up the phone. And the plug in the room wasn’t working. We had to use the hair dryer near the front door. We stayed at the prestigious suite for 3 nights. I thought I was staying a Mercure hotel. I think I should receive better service while paying at the 5 stars hotel.

Well located. The cleaning staff was quite indiscreet. While we were in the room, they came in and started to clean up the room and change the water. Water was not so much for a whole day. In the reservation I mentioned that one of the guests is vegan, but there was no vegan hot meal option for breakfast, so the hotel did not prepare for the vegan guest. Only vegetarian. Plant based cold cuts were also vegetarian, not vegan. No vegan yogurt. Therefore vegan options were fresh fruits, vegetables, warm mushrooms (some vegans - not us - do not eat mushrooms, though), beans and muesli. The staff in Kitchen Gallery did not speak English fluently and did not know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Would've been nice to have scrambled tofu (at least on order if not in the buffet menu), sausages and cold cuts made of soy or green peas. Still, this was the widest offerings for buffet breakfast so far in a hotel, but we've been to 4 star hotels, where the kitchen prepared with vegan options for us after we told it during check in. However, a la carte vegan dishes in the restaurant were great for dinner. The welcome doughnut was a really nice surprise and it was great for one of us, but also, it was not vegan. The vegan guest should've got a vegan surprise. Otherwise, the stay was great.

Overall it was a very nice stay for a very good value. Please see below my feedback:
- We arrived quite early (11am-ish) and I was fully aware about the check-in time. I would still expect the receptionist to ask me for a name and check if maybe the room is available for us to refresh, instead I had an almost rude answer: "Checking in is from 3pm!"
- I was allocated to a specially adapted room. The shower curtain is not great solution and the entire bathrrom gets flooded when taking a shower, creating a quite significant slip hazard. I asked receptionist to update my profile so in the future, please do not allocate me in those type rooms
- On our departure, there was an arrival of American / Canadian group who literarily took over the entire lobby. The whole situation appeared to be overwhelming to the hotel's staff. The group was sleping on the sofas, drinking alcohol, walking in the hotel topless etc. It didn't appear right to allow for such a behaviour in such a great hotel.
- You have very comfortable and huge beds.

We recently spent three wonderful nights at the Sofitel Warsaw, and it exceeded every expectation. From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently top-notch — every member of staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating an atmosphere that made us feel instantly at home.
The room itself was a highlight, with some of the most comfortable bedding we’ve ever slept in. We woke up each morning feeling completely refreshed and ready to explore the city. The breakfast spread was equally impressive — a generous variety of fresh, high-quality options that set us up perfectly for the day ahead.
We also made great use of the hotel’s facilities, including a well-equipped gym and a fantastic pool and sauna area — the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
A particularly special moment came on the 1st of August, when we were fortunate enough to witness a moving commemorative show marking the Warsaw Uprising, held in the square right by the hotel. It was a powerful and unexpected addition to our stay, and the hotel’s central location made it easy to be part of this significant moment in the city’s history.
All in all, the Sofitel Warsaw offers a perfect blend of comfort, exceptional service, and a prime location. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the Polish capital, and we’re already looking forward to returning.
