On the 2nd August 2026, late evening, we needed to cancel our breakfast reservation for the following morning because we planned to leave very early to visit a nearby town. Using the telephone in our room, we called Reception, Concierge and the Bar, but none of these contact points answered.
We then called the Sofitel’s international customer telephone number from our Australian mobile phone, yet that call also went unanswered. Eventually, we were forced to leave our room and go downstairs, mobile phone in hand, while it continued ringing at Reception.
When we arrived, the gentleman at Reception could clearly hear that our call was coming through, but had chosen not to answer it. His explanation was simply that he was busy. We found this response wholly inadequate and the level of service extremely disappointing for a five-star hotel.
While we appreciate that staff may occasionally be occupied, guests must still be able to contact Reception—particularly late at night. At the very least, the call should have been acknowledged or returned promptly. Hotel guests are paying for and entitled to the standard of attentive service that the Sofitel name promises, and regrettably, this experience fell well below that standard.

The hotel itself is amazing, both the facilities and room. The highlight goes to the bed and the spa areas.
As Accor Gold member, got an upgrade and very nice and thoughtful amenities.
Not giving a 10 as the staff during breakfast was not good and there was some confusion with the skip the clean.
Besides that, all perfect!

After spending 2 weeks in Poland at 5 different hotels, Sofitel was the best.

The breakfast buffet had lots of choices with a chef making eggs of yout choice.
The best part was having AC in my room which unfortunately it wasn't the case on my next hotel stays.

Overall great experience. Front desk staff was excellent. Bar staff was weak. Bartenders were more interested in chatting amongst themselves versus waiting on guests.
