We recently enjoyed a staycation at the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria. It was a very pleasant experience, marked by thoughtful service and great attention to detail for our loyalty status. The check-in process was smooth, and we truly appreciated the professional introduction to the hotel's amenities and the room upgrade we received. We would like to especially thank Miss Wiktoria at the reception. She was professional, helpful, and focused on ensuring our needs were met—a true example of excellent hospitality. The hotel’s location is ideal, within walking distance of the Old Town and several historic sites. Although the building has been around for some time, it is well-maintained and keeps its classic charm. Our room was comfortable, and the bed provided a great night's rest. We also enjoyed the indoor pool; while it is not very large, it is beautifully designed and was a perfect spot for our family to spend some quality time together. The breakfast offered a good variety, with an emphasis on quality ingredients. A special thanks to the Breakfast Manager, Anna, for her assistance in arranging a table for us during the busy weekend rush. We also want to mention Chef Agnieszka, who kindly prepared a lovely fruit platter for our young son. Throughout the hotel, the staff was consistently friendly and responsive to our requests. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience that left our family with beautiful memories. We are already planning our next visit and look forward to another stay characterized by the same high level of hospitality and care that made this trip so special.

I had two reservations - one for a personal stay and then for the IBA conference. When I checked in on Monday, April 20, 2026, I was assisted by a male clerk at the front desk. I was extremely tired, having travelled on red eye flights from Canada. He was very arrogant and immediately said my room wasn't ready and, without any question or prompting from me, proceeded to say that it was not possible for him to ascertain whether it would be available earlier. I had to wait until 3 pm. He referred me to the wellness spa to spend my time (not something I was prepared to do, having just travelled a long way). It's fine that the room wasn't ready - it was his attitude I found objectionable. It was not only unwelcoming, but dismissive. I asked for a wifi connection. He told me what it was and then said "no internet". This ended up being impactful because I needed to join a Teams call for work. I have stayed at Accor hotels already and am a member of the loyalty program. Because he did not take the time to explain any of this, I had to incur a cost to join my call. I waited for a couple of hours in the lobby until 3 pm when I could access my room. Nothing was clarified at that time about the internet / wifi connection. Staff I encountered later were more friendly. There is room for improvement for your front line staff, the first people with whom your paying guests interact.
