Our pick up at the airport was arranged by the concierge of Sofitel, with which holidays started comfortably, including a selection of welcom drinks upon arrival. The majority of employees were young, professional, highly motivated with empathy and engagement towards clients, rooms and room service very good. No desperate waiting at the elevator even during "rush hour". Location is excellent, being close to major sightseeings, avoiding traffic jams like e.g. in the center of the city. We wish the management the foresight to not sacrifice what has been achieved by increasing the booking rate through "discount packages". As by now, we will recommend Sofitel Victoria to friends.

The room was booked for 3 guests — 2 adults and 1 child — and there were 3 beds, but upon arrival we found only 2 sets of towels and slippers. The room simply wasn’t fully prepared for the number of guests stated in the reservation. I tried calling Room Service, but no one answered. Fortunately, a member of the housekeeping staff in the corridor helped us and provided the missing items. While the issue was eventually resolved, I find it disappointing that we had to ask for basic amenities that should have been prepared before our arrival. I would expect the room to be properly equipped for all registered guests from the moment we check in.
