The room and the hotel in general are a bit dated. Although the room has four beds, it is far too small to comfortably accommodate a whole family with luggage; it was very cramped. There was a terrible smell—like sewage or mold—coming from the shower, which was not addressed during our stay. Housekeeping forgot to provide towels—whether intentionally or not—so we had to chase down fresh ones every evening. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and we really enjoyed it. The reception staff were pleasant, and we received good service.

Hotel Mercure Warszawa Centrum has an excellent location - just a five minute walk from Warszawa Centralna (the main train station), steps away from Złote Tarasy (an upscale mall), across the street from Pałac Kultury, and only a short distance from Krakowskie Przedmieście and other attractions. In spite of its outstanding placement, the hotel’s facilities felt slightly dated and our room in particular had a malfunctioning AC unit. The hotel staff did not offer to relocate us to a different room and did not try to make up for the situation. We were disappointed, considering the hotel’s four star rating.

We were disappointed with the lack of service and support with arrival and luggage. The room appeared to be dirty and rather neglected. The AC didn't seem to adjust to the high temperatures. Many parts of the bathroom were in poor working order, for example the toilet rolls didn't fit in the toilet roll holder, which in itself was coming out of the wall. towels were threadbare. Poor soundproofing in room. Room felt overall quite dirty.
