When we arrived, the girl at the desk said she could not find our reservation (made with Weekendesk) She was very impolite and unfriendly, not really willing to help us at all When we required further, she did not really reply and it was only after we insisted, that she said she would enquire where our reservation might have gone. Then she said she would contact Weekendesk, but the response would take more then 3 hours!.So at 11 am we would have to wait 3 hours before we would get a response if we would have a room or not. We then contacted Weekendesk ourselves and they informed us that they would enquire with the hotel and would call us back. Within 2 minutes they called back to inform us that everything was okay. We wondered if the girl at the desk would then come to us and tells us that everything was in order, but this never happened, so we went back to the desk ourselves and without blinking an eye or something resembling an apology she said everything was alright. It is quite incomprehensible that reception staff are not more accommodating and that one has to wait 3 hours to get a confirmation that a booking is in order. Overall, barring a few exceptions, the staff are very unfriendly. The breakfast area is far too small andhygiene leaves a lot to be desired.

The room, the location are all great. But the experience at the bar in the evening can certainly be improved. During check-in it was confirmed the bar was open until midnight. But the bartender only serves drinks until 23h. At 22h30 there was no more beer on tap, and the bartender was very blunt about it. When asking for cocktails, we had to change our choice 3 times, as multiple ingredients were not available. While preparing the drinks he even had an argument with other staff behind the counter. Please make sure you have enough stock and have an experienced customer minded bartender.

Overnight stay. Efficient room. Nice vibe to the common areas. Would be best to clarify dining situation as showed that restaurant was open but kitchen staff were ready to go home well before noted closing time. They did serve me and the food was great but I could hear and understand the complaints about lateness. It is ok to have shorter hours but need to publicize to set expectations.

Noisy, window did not close properly, noise from buzzing machine recurring at all times of the night. Slept terrible!
