The service in breakfast restaurant could be improved. In rush hours the guest are queuing waiting for available tables. Then, it can be seen that the tables are not occupied by guest but the empty tables are not cleaned effectively. Lots of unoccupied tables could be available for guests queuing but the personnel is too slow. The process for quicker cleaning tables has a potential for improvement.

I had a very disappointing stay at Novotel Paris La Défense Esplanade, and unfortunately the experience fell far below what I would expect from a Novotel. The room itself was one of the biggest disappointments. It was extremely small, dated, dingy, and had an unpleasant smell. There wasn’t even a bedside table or convenient surface to place a phone and charger. The window glass was also so dirty that it took away from what could have been a nice view. The service was equally disappointing. Several staff members came across as rude and disengaged. There was very little effort to smile, welcome guests, or provide basic hospitality. There was no iron in the room, and the laundry process was unnecessarily inconvenient. I had to personally bring my laundry down to reception and later pick it up there as well. Nobody contacted me to let me know when it was ready. To make matters worse, my room key repeatedly stopped working. The most frustrating situation happened when I went to collect my laundry. The staff member handling the laundry refused to add the charge to my hotel bill and would not release my clothes until I paid immediately. Since I didn’t have my wallet with me, I had to go back upstairs to get it—and because my room key had stopped working again, what should have been a simple laundry pickup turned into multiple trips between my room and reception just to get access to my own belongings and pay the charge. Between the poor condition of the room, lack of basic amenities, repeated key problems, inconvenient laundry process, and unfriendly service, this was a very unpleasant stay. The hotel feels badly in need of renovation as well as significant improvement in customer service and basic guest experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it based on my experience.

The hotel is conveniently located near the subway station, but needing to walk up and down stairs to get to it is slightly inconvenient. The hotel and room are clean, though dated. That meant a lack of some modern features, such as a walk-in shower (the bathtub was so high from the ground stepping out felt slightly risky), large windows, and large elevators. The experience was okay, with cleaning and fresh towels every day. The front desk also accommodated some special requests like borrowing plates and dish soap. The main detractor was a shower head that wouldn’t stay up. It wouldn’t keep the angle we adjusted it to and it wasn’t fixed despite telling the front desk 3 times. The other issues are the new glasses on day 7 having a chemical smell and the lack of a luggage stand in the room. I came from an impeccably kept 4-star Hilton in Germany before this stay, and there are some amenities I miss from that facility. Their housekeeping placed the covers folded on the bed, so we didn’t have to untuck them from the mattress every night. They also had water dispensers (Brita C Tap) on every floor instead of just the lobby, which was a big convenience. Their water was chilled as well instead of room temperature, which is great for these hot summer days. Lastly, they had a front desk staffed 24/7 which was convenient when we needed something after returning late at night.

The staff were friendly, the tv had good channels variety though mostly in French. The location is also good as it is close to good restaurants, shops The challenge with the the hotel is that the. AC’s don’t work well. We ended up sweating a lot at night. Also the beds were not very comfortable. The ends were not flat and created a lot of discomfort

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to central Paris. That however is where the pleasant comments finish. The hotel is so run down it shouldn’t even have the Novotel name above its doors. The rooms are scruffy rundown and in some areas down right dirty. The staff are not the normal Novotel professionals that we have become accustomed to. The there’s the parking which is a joke to find a joke to get in and out off. Then finally it’s the address which they cannot even get this right. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Overall experience was fine. Staffs were friendly and we had a river view room which was good. It is a bit unfortunate that the window was very dirty, so we cannot enjoy the view as much as we could have. The room was a bit basic and the bed was a bit wobbly/unstable. The room cleaning was very good and air conditioning was working very well for the heat wave. When the tour group was around, the lifts become difficult especially during check out as every lifts that stops were full.

Great location with metro nearby to commute to central Paris and RER to Disneyland. Enjoyed the hotel dinner food, very friendly staff who prepared a birthday surprise for my daughter’s 10 birthday. The rooms are small, lack water and a refrigerator, and are far from shops; there is also a large tree blocking the view of the Eiffel Tower.

Check-in was arranged for 14.00 but the room was not ready. Delay more than one hour. Also, I had a discount as a member but they didn't accept it and instead they returned the membership points back to my account .

I was disappointed with my stay. The air conditioning was not working properly, and even the reception area had no air conditioning, making check-in very uncomfortable. room was without refrigerator 👎 Unfortunately, the receptionist who checked me in was not welcoming or friendly. She came across as rude and did not make any effort to assist or make me feel welcome. A warm and professional attitude at reception can make a big difference, but that was missing during my arrival. I hope the hotel improves both its air conditioning and its customer service, as these issues had a negative impact on my experience.

My stay at the hotel was overall average. The location was convenient, and the front desk staff were courteous and helpful. However, several aspects of the stay did not meet expectations. The parking system was inconvenient and difficult to use. In addition, the check-in process was disappointing, as the room was not available at the advertised check-in time of 2:00 PM. The room itself had several deficiencies. The desk lacked a dedicated lamp, and despite requesting one, no replacement was available. For business travelers, this makes working in the room uncomfortable. Furthermore, there was only one power outlet near the desk, and it was located behind the TV in a very difficult-to-access position. The bathroom facilities also need improvement. The shower temperature control was difficult to adjust, making it challenging to achieve a comfortable water temperature. Additionally, the shower head angle was poorly designed and did not provide a satisfactory shower experience. While the staff and location were positive aspects of the stay, the issues related to room amenities, check-in, parking, and bathroom functionality significantly impacted the overall experience. I hope these areas can be improved for future guests. Overall rating: 5/10 (average experience with several areas requiring improvement).
