I know that it is to conserve energy, but the hall lights from the room I stayed in only came on when I got to the corner where the elevator is. It was uncomfortable, as walking down a pitch black hallway is not ideal.

To west of city in office district but also with lots of residential space, shopping centres, restaurants. Only 10 mins from champs elysee by Metro (runs every 2 min during day). I ate mostly in area around Eiffel Tower and all accessible in 20-30 min by metro. Large studio with small kitchenette. 2 rings on hob plus microwave so don’t expect to cook a masterpiece but possible to do some simple dishes. Suited me perfectly

We were given an 'unrenovated' apartment despite having booked a Superior large 1-bedroom apartment. The apartment was dirty and the sofa bed was so bent you couldnt sleep on it. They couldnt move us the first night, but did for the rest of our stay. The renovated room was just ok. The apartment has a full kitchen, but no toaster. They do sell toaster at reception though... The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location just near the Metro was good. We didnt try the breakfast as it was ridiculously expensive.

I stayed a week. I love the layout, the kitchen, and location. Unfortunately, the shower didn’t work properly, the big flush button for the toilet was broken, and no one ever came to clean out the garbage. I reported to the front desk, and they said someone from maintenance would come by the next day, but no update or results.
