Our second visit to the Too hotel in Paris. Great views, comfy rooms and facilities as always. Good food. Great breakfast. Things management should know about the room: No hooks to hang towels in bathrooms. These have to be provided if you want us to reuse the towels. The bathroom door pushes the bath mat out of the way. So when you come out of the shower, you can slip on the floor!!! The bedside table surface is not smooth in design. Doesn't allow us to place our own drinking bottles without them shaking

Overall, it was fine, I booked this hotel mainly because of the air conditioning during the heatwave, and it worked perfectly. The receptionist who checked me in was lovely, but some other staff members came across as unwelcoming. I was puzzled by the use of paper cups while promoting sustainability. They were impractical, uncomfortable to use (very light and tip over easily), and cheapen the vibe of the room incredibly. Sturdier cups would be a much better option. The room was clean and comfortable. The only small maintenance issue I noticed was that the sealant/grout at the shower door is yellowish and could be replaced.

Horrible family stay, this hotel is extremely unfriendly and unsafe for families with young children. We booked a two-night room for our family trip and checked in at 5 p.m. When we returned to the room after dinner around 7 to 8 p.m., we immediately discovered carpet beetle larvae crawling inside our room and captured one as physical evidence. Soon after staying in the room, my 3-year-old toddler, my wife and I developed countless red, itchy allergic bite marks all over our skin. The rashes made our little boy cry nonstop from discomfort, which ruined our entire Paris vacation. This severe pest infestation proves the hotel failed to complete basic room disinfection and hygiene work, creating an unsafe living environment for young kids. That same evening, we went to the front desk to formally request canceling the second night of our booking and ask for a partial refund for the unused night. However, the front desk staff responded with obvious perfunctoriness and cold attitudes. It was clear they treated us unequally and discriminated against our family solely because we cannot speak French fluently. We have resided in the United States for 15 years and the United Kingdom for 5 years, and this is the first time we have encountered such obvious unfair treatment at an accommodation facility in France. Our complaint was deliberately stalled and delayed by the hotel administrative team for an entire full day. After waiting for a whole day for a solution, they simply informed us that zero refund or compensation would be offered under any circumstances. The only option they provided was checking out early while bearing the full financial loss ourselves. We could not bear to let our child continue suffering from the bug bites in that unsanitary room, so we had no choice but to leave ahead of schedule and book a brand-new hotel, which forced us to pay extra unexpected accommodation costs. We have preserved all supporting evidence, including clear photos of the pest we caught, close-up shots of the allergic bite rashes covering our child’s body, and all communication records with the hotel’s front desk. We will submit all materials to our booking platform and local French consumer protection authorities to pursue reasonable compensation and a full refund for the unused night. This experience has been deeply disappointing. We sincerely suggest the hotel carry out comprehensive pest elimination for all guest rooms, provide standardized service training to all frontline staff to eliminate language-based discrimination, and establish fair refund policies for guests facing critical hygiene hazards during their stay.
