The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and in good repair, nothing fancy but didn't expect more for the price. The surrounding area was nice with shops and eateries nearby and Metro station a short walk away. The location is 30 mins approx. to the centre of Paris.

I checked in on Saturday and on Sunday afternoon the manager came up to my room and asked me what I was doing in the room as I did not have a booking, He did not allow me to finish my food that I was eating and wanted me to come to reception with him urgently. I went to reception where he again said I had no booking and that I had arrived on Friday. I said that I was in Australia on Friday to look up my booking which I booked in July through Accor. He insisted there was no booking. I went to my room and brought down the booking printout with the booking reference number and the dates booked. He said he would look into it and let me know. He then charged my debit card for an extra night, I went to reception to complain to him that he overcharged me and why hadn't he looked up my booking. He then offered to refund part of what he had charged me. I believe this situation was very poorly managed. I stayed at this hotel in 2024 when I had a very pleasant stay.

Beata J. Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

My recent stay at this hotel was one of the most distressing travel experiences I have ever had. The most alarming aspect of my stay was hotel’s failure to respond to a potentially dangerous situation. On the very first evening, we noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor outside our room. At first, we thought it was an isolated incident, but it quickly became clear that the smell was constant and intensified during the evening and night hours. The source of the smoke was a neighboring guest (room 519, 5th floor) who smoked at the window of the room adjacent to ours. This caused smoke to fill the hallway and even drift into our room. Opening the window was not an option, because the smoke immediately entered our room from the outside. This situation was not only unpleasant but also potentially hazardous. Even more concerning was the fact that our room appeared to have no visible smoke detectors or sprinkler system. Every night, we went to sleep anxious about the possibility of a fire breaking out and whether we would have enough time to evacuate safely. Naturally, we reported the issue to the hotel staff. Unfortunately, the reaction we received was shockingly inadequate. Despite making two reports, two days in a row in person at the reception—no real action was taken for two days to locate the person responsible and enforce the no-smoking policy. Even worse, instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, the receptionist accused me of having “unrealistic expectations” for assuming that the hotel staff would check whether anyone was smoking inside the building. The most absurd and frustrating moment came when the receptionist suggested that the “solution” to the problem was for us to move to a different room on another floor—so that we would no longer breathe the smoke—rather than dealing with the guest who was breaking the rules. In other words, the hotel’s approach was to relocate the victim of the problem, rather than resolving the cause of the problem itself. This attitude made me feel not only ignored but also humiliated. It is the hotel’s basic responsibility to ensure that all guests can stay in a safe, smoke-free environment. The combination of smoke exposure, the lack of visible fire safety equipment, and the staff’s refusal to take appropriate action created an environment in which we genuinely feared for our safety. Instead of feeling cared for, we were left to deal with the problem ourselves for two entire days. Beyond the safety concerns, I must also mention the poor condition of the room. The bathroom had visible mold in the corners of the shower, which suggests insufficient cleaning and maintenance. The furniture was old, scratched, and generally worn-out, giving the impression that the room had not been renovated or properly refreshed for a very long time. However, these issues, though unpleasant, were secondary compared to the sense of danger and the lack of adequate staff response to the fire hazard. In summary, this stay was not merely disappointing – it was frightening. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, and never before have I encountered such a blatant disregard for basic safety procedures and such dismissive treatment of guest concerns. Rather than reassure us and take action, the staff minimized the situation, failed to enforce the hotel’s own rules, and essentially told us to adapt to the problem instead of fixing it.

Dear Beata J., I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent experience at our hotel. I am truly sorry to hear about the distressing situations you encountered during your stay. Your concerns regarding the cigarette smoke and the response from our staff are taken very seriously. It is imperative for us to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all our guests, and I regret that we did not meet that standard in your case. The safety of our guests is our top priority, and I understand how distressing it must have been to feel unsafe in your room. Additionally, I acknowledge your comments regarding the condition of your accommodations. We strive to provide a clean and well-maintained environment, and I apologize that we fell short of that expectation. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. It is only through such insights that we can work toward improving our services. Best regards, Samir Yaou, Directeur - General Manager

Typical Accor it is not and thats not good

Lucy L TripAdvisor review

I dont usually write reviews because Im either content or not to upset but stay away. This is not a typical accor. The photos of rooms are not accurate and I dont know whats going on by accor hasnt invested in this and its like Friday the 13th student camp horror show but even that would be better. Worst smell in my life in a hotel. My husband who cant smell anything even plugged his nose. Its like the ventilation system is plugged into the sewer system. Mold, wall trim falling off, broken/half broken furniture. Maybe in my college days this would have passed not now. Only good thing was the staff was pretty friendly and the onsite parking but I would next time risk leaving my car on the side of a road than spending time there. Seriously over 150 a night and it was simply not acceptable. Accor should refund anyone who has spent time here. I really am glad I didnt see anything moving around and I checked all the luggage that I didnt bring visitors because after the cleanliness and outdated items I was seriously worried. No photos because Im pretty sure the camera died from the odorus fog and user photos have been already done, basically dont trust the brand, trust user reviews. :( The only thing I will add is the neighborhood was nice and lots of restos and a mtro not to far, but at the hotel door there was a weirdo hanging out and nobody seemed fazed whereas I was very nervious to get my hotel card out of my purse while he was hanging out by the front door doing something wierd.
