The staff were terrible. I usually stay in Mercure hotels when travelling though France and find them great. This was not the case here. The staff failed to provide to organise and early breakfast but still charged us. They then double charged my credit card when. I checked out. Really, a terrible experience.

We had a great experience at Mercure Paris Montparnasse Pasteur. The room was comfortable and met our needs. The birthday balloons were a nice touch for our weekend away. We were surprised by a few of the Eiffel Tower from our room as we were not expecting this. Breakfast had a nice variety of things and good coffee. Would have been good to have a better selection of teas/coffees in the room. The hotel is not too far to the metro. The area was quiet and felt safe.

The rooms were clean. The beds are single beds not queen not king. Very uncomfortable pillows as well. The breakfast was bad, scrambled eggs for 8 days and green beans with chicken.

Overall comfortable stay but average room cleaning (systematically forgot to add tea, toilet smells like urine), room a bit run down (tap is not well sealed), and no recognition for platinum members (no upgrade or late check out).
