Arrived to be told on 5th floor but no lift working. No way could we climb the narrow spiral stairs with luggage.. staff unhelpful.. when threatened to complain they offered 1st floor… still a struggle up the stair with no help ( both nearly 70) … staircase filthy.. room tiny but at least bed comfy… will avoid Ibis in future

My experience would have been fine if the room had cost 150 euros maximum but the room was far too small for 230. The receptionist was lovely.

The room was small, but appreciate this is a feature in Paris. Would really have welcomed use of a kettle to make tea/ coffee in the room.

As you mentioned, room sizes in Paris can sometimes be a little compact, but we try to make them as comfortable and functional as possible. Regarding the kettle, ibis rooms are not equipped with them as part of the brand concept, however we do provide hot water 24/7 at our water fountain on level -1, and kettles can also be borrowed from reception upon request. When it comes to placement and service - fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for anything more. A near perfect view of the Eiffel Tower from the staircase, the local cafes/restaurants, and the convenience of the railway/metro/taxi stations at Gare Montparnasse - splendid. However, there was a super slow drain in the shower in my room and my companions had rooms that stayed extremely warm (with one room that had a balcony that contained a door that would not close).

hotel is clean, well situated and staff are friendly. But the rooms are disappointing for the Ibis brand and feel out dated. Everything is very compact, which is not surprising given the location, but doesn't help in the overall feeling. There are room amenities that can be improved and that I would have expected from a hotel in this price bracket. Simple things like a box of tissues in the bathroom, towels that don't look like they came from an Ibis Budget (dare I say an old F1 hotel), a television that you can see, charging points on both side of the bed, tea/coffee facilities... so whilst it did the job it did not feel like good value for money.

We are the smallest Ibis hotel in France, located in the heart of Paris, with 31 rooms. The hotel's architecture is quite unique. It's built vertically across eight levels, with only three or four rooms per floor. We strive to create an intimate, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere so that our guests feel comfortable and at home. While we don't offer a standard welcome tray, a hot beverage machine is available on level -1 for your convenience.
