The room was unbearably hot - the air conditioning gave an error after 2 minutes, and the window was locked! Spent half the night roasting in the room, got up early, worked, showered, and left. It was only 16 degrees outside but the room was 22-23.

There are some repairs overdue, especially with the lighting. The bed was comfy, Ibis standard, and the breakfast was on the poor side, Ibis standard. The choice of carpeting, dark, doesn't allow you to check if it's clean or not. Stains on the bed sheets, not a good sight so we slept over the covers. Had much better experiences at other Ibis worldwide.

Very nice basic hotel. Very clean, smells lovely. Huge tv in the room. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast is good - the only downside is that there are 0 vegetables 🙂 but the omelette and bacon are good. Also good location, quiet street, supermarket 2 min walk. Friendly staff.

Hi, I just wanted to mention that I’m quite disappointed with the room. It honestly doesn’t make sense that there’s no mini fridge or even a kettle, and the TV isn’t a Smart TV either. These feel like very basic amenities that I would expect a hotel room to have, especially for a longer stay. Is there anything you can do about this?

I was made to feel welcome from my check-in experience. Room was comfortable and always spotless. Housekeeping did a great job. Any time I needed assistance from front desk, no question was any trouble, and I appreciated their genuine willingness to help and friendly disposition.

Lovely hotel and staff. Location was great with a metro and bus stops all within 5 minute walk. Rooms were a great size, good aircon and great shower. Only downside was the double bed being 2 singles pushed together so kept slipping down gap and also the breakfast was a little limited and pretty much all cold regardless of what time you had it. But wouldn’t put me off staying again

The newer Catalogne Ibis is well-located and has not yet become rundown like so many other small hotels in the area of the Montparnasse train station. Still, it was a bit disconcerting to find out when departing that the frame of our room's doorway had been freshly painted just minutes before - we escaped a disaster by chance. I also question the wisdom of having beds made with synthetic filled mattress toppers and comforters when it is 30 C. They are hot and uncomfortable, and only encourage guests to use more air conditioning which is hardly a good thing for guests and the hotel. We asked for a flat sheet and removed the mattress topper as we were both soaking wet the first night. Accor should consider different configurations for winter and summer.
