I booked Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse mainly because it is close to the Metro (line 12). However, during my stay, line 12 was under maintenance, so I had to walk several minutes to another station. Despite this, the location is still convenient for anyone relying on public transport when everything is running normally. The room itself was quite dark and lacked sufficient lighting. Upon moving in, I noticed that some light bulbs were not working. I asked the receptionist if an engineer could come to fix it or if I could change rooms. Initially, I was told it might not be resolved immediately as no engineer was on site, but they would leave a message and it might be fixed another day. I requested urgent attention due to my elderly parents, who found it difficult to move around in the dimly lit room. In the end, someone was sent to check, and no issues were found during our stay. Overall, the hotel’s location is good, but the room lighting and responsiveness to maintenance issues could be improved, especially for guests with mobility concerns.

Nice small hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful but not all though. Room is nice, clean, updated but a bit small for a family. I don't like that the toilet is separate from the shower. Hotel is a just a short walk from the metro which is a good thing. So many boulangerie and coffee shops to choose from around the hotel. Complimentary drinks in the bar is a plus.

Our overall stay was fine. The room was spacious, and both breakfast and dinner were very good. However, the way a heating issue on our floor was handled left us very disappointed. On our first night, we woke up in a very cold room. The same happened the next afternoon when we returned from sightseeing — the room and the entire hallway were freezing. Only when we inquired about it were we informed that there was a technical issue on our floor and that there was no heating. When we asked to change rooms, we were told the hotel was fully booked. We had to request extra blankets, and my children and I ended up sleeping in one bed to stay warm. Our friends in the room next door experienced the same problem. Reception told them they would receive electric blankets, which never arrived, and they had to ask twice just to get extra bedding. The next morning at checkout, we brought all of this up and were told there was nothing the hotel could do. When we insisted, we were offered “extra points,” which is not an appropriate solution for two nights spent without heating. A partial refund would have been far more reasonable under the circumstances, and I still hope that the management will take some action regarding this issue.

I was there around 3.05pm , the counter queue was long and some of the customer still unable to check in even though its already 3. When i informed the guy i got all accor member, he said i booked from third party. So he cant help me. Why other hotel group able to do it.
