Comfortable bed, clean room. Window lock was broken (room 335) and it would be good to have a notice explaining to guests that they need to take any laundry bags to reception as this was not clear and I left a shirt to be collected in the room. Great idea to have water dispensers in the corridors, very helpful and friendly staff. Thanks

The hotel is very close to both the subway station and bus stops; Line 12, in particular, is perfect for visiting major tourist attractions. The surrounding area is quiet and safe. What impressed me most was the friendly staff. Everyone I encountered—from check-in to check-out—was kind and helpful whenever I asked for travel information. Most staff members communicated well in English, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a staff member who spoke Korean. The bar on the 7th floor offered a wonderful view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower, and the food and drinks were excellent. I would like to extend special thanks to Gioachino for his kindness and hospitality throughout my stay.

Unfortunately, our stay at Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse was not a good experience. We were travelling as a family and had stayed at many different accommodations during our 25-day Europe trip, but this was the only hotel where we experienced this level of service and attitude from the staff. When we entered our room, there was a very strange/unpleasant smell. Basic amenities were also missing, including drinking water and a tissue box. There was a tissue box in the bathroom, but it was completely empty and had clearly not been replaced before our check-in. More seriously, the bathroom sink was not draining properly. We reported this to reception using the phone in the room. We were told that a technician would be sent immediately to fix the problem, but no technician ever came and the issue was never resolved during our stay. Having a bathroom sink that does not drain properly is a basic hygiene and maintenance issue, and we were particularly disappointed that our complaint was simply not followed up. We also found the attitude of some of the reception and restaurant staff disappointing. The interactions often felt very cold, with no friendliness, politeness or willingness to help. We noticed similar interactions with other guests as well. Overall, we did not feel that guests were being treated with the level of care or respect we would expect from a Novotel property. Our experience was so disappointing that we decided to leave one day earlier than our original checkout date. When we informed reception that we were leaving early, we were asked why. I simply explained that it was for personal reasons, as I did not feel it was appropriate to discuss our dissatisfaction in detail with the reception staff at that point. However, I do believe the hotel should receive this as a formal complaint, particularly regarding the unresolved bathroom maintenance issue and the general standard of service. We have stayed in many accommodations throughout our Europe trip, and unfortunately Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse was the only property where we experienced this kind of service and lack of response to basic guest concerns. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, particularly the lack of follow-up on a reported hygiene/maintenance issue.

My overall experience was just amazing. The Hotel is very clean, the people are very helpful, the breakfast everything was fresh and there was a lot to choose from. The Hotel location is very good too because the Metro is very close to the hotel and in a few minutes you are near the best Paris sites. The Roof top bar is very nice and the views are amazing.
