We were in Paris in September and stayed at this hotel. The stay was very comfortable. The hotel staff is very responsive both over email as well as during the stay. The breakfast buffet has a good number of options and their bakery ched made amazing croissants and pain au chocolat.

Great location. Rooms are a bit slow to be turned over. Staff were very friendly. Was let down by the room, booked a suite for my engagement, but the room had some damage and signs of heavy wear.

Neither I nor my partner consumed breakfast at your hotel at any point during our four-night stay. The only incidentals incurred during our stay were two beers on the evening of September 16. When I ordered them, I was explicitly asked to verify my room number and name and to sign a charge form. These beers were fully settled in cash (€19.80) at the front desk upon checkout on September 18. During checkout, the front desk staff specifically asked whether we had consumed breakfast. I explicitly confirmed that we did not have breakfast at any point during our stay, and the staff acknowledged this before completing our checkout. Despite this, an €84.00 charge for breakfast for two guests on September 16 and 17 has been applied to my card.

Easy to travel around paris from the Montparnasse station which was a short walk from the hotel. The Breakfast was good quality and quantity. I was disappointed that our room was in slight disrepair. The water temperature adjustment on the bathroom sink did not work as expected and the water quickly turned scalding hot so we had to be quick about handwashing. Additionally, the toilet and the sink being in separate rooms is odd. This forces you to touch multiple doors with unclean hands before you get to the sink. The climate adjustment knob on the thermostat also seemed to be broken and it took some tinkering to get it to work. My wife was disappointed that there was no conditioner in the hotel room when we first checked in. And there didn’t appear to be a spot in the shower for any either, so we assumed it wasn’t an amenity the hotel provided. We ended up purchasing some elsewhere and after checking with the front desk we found out that it should have been stocked in the room already. A positive note is that I mentioned it was my wife’s birthday and the hotel provided two free tickets for a seine cruise.

Dear Mr. F., Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your stay with us. We are pleased to know that you appreciated our location, breakfast and the attention provided by our team. We are nevertheless sorry that several aspects of your room did not meet your expectations. This is not the level of service we wish to offer our guests, and your comments regarding the room facilities, maintenance and housekeeping have been shared with the relevant teams for their attention. We are also glad that we were able to contribute to your wife’s birthday with the Seine cruise tickets. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with a more enjoyable experience. Kind regards, Léa Communication Manager Assistant Novotel Paris Centre Gare Montparnasse

The best part of this hotel is the location. It is conveniently located at walking distance from the main railway station. When we had to catch up an early train the staff provided us with packed breakfast for us to consume on the train as there was not enough time to eat at the hotel. Dinner was available quite late. It was convenient to do all the sight seeing in the town and then get food once we returned to the hotel. One feature that we liked was that there was drinking water available at every level of the hotel. (Good to know that the hotel encouraged not to use plastic bottles. We really missed a hot water kettle in the room where we could have made our own cup of tea. Perhaps also milk and tea bags of our choice (English breakfast - Lipton)

We had a very comfortable stay. We only required a one night stay near Paris Montparnasse ready for a morning journey. The hotel is extremely well located with a short cut into the back of the station. The room was spotlessly clean and breakfast superb.

the only thing to make better even in august is the Air Condition in the rooms, that is not cooling wright

We had an executive room on the sixth floor with a very good queen size bed. The room was quiet and clean and the hotel is located near the Montparnasse station and well communicated with metro stations (Pasteur is the closest). We will definitely consider this hotel during our next trip to Paris.

Dear Mr. R., Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. There were 4 of us travelling (2 adults and 2 children). The room suited us nicely. The complimentary drinks were appreciated in the heat as was the water station by the lifts. We had a great stay.
