Room is quite big, very well welcome; efficient in the welcoming; very good breakfast (a bit expensive).The only thing missing is a gym/sport room.

Terrible service, poor communication from staff members and a lost item!

I had recently stayed at Hotel Mercure Paris Gare Montparnasse TGV with my family and I am very disappointed with the overall service and experience that I am compelled to share it. The service and communication were shockingly poor. During my stay, I accidentally left my Apple Watch on the bedside table in the room. Upon realizing this after check-out, I attempted to contact the hotel immediately. I sent three separate emails requesting assistance in locating my watch, but I received absolutely no response. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially when dealing with lost property. In addition to the issue with my lost item, the overall service during my stay was subpar. The staff members were not helpful at all. Requests for basic services were either delayed or ignored. I had stayed with my family for 4 nights. Every single day my access key was deactivated for no reason and we had to go back to the reception every night to activate the same once we return to the hotel after tiring day. My stay there was a regret, and the unresolved issue of my lost watch only adds to my disappointment. Till now, the hotel hasn't contacted me. I even left a message to the hotel at the call centre of Accor Hotels apart from the three e mails that I had sent on the matter. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values good service and communication.
