I am really disappointed by the service provided to me as a Platinum member. I asked for a late check-out and the lady did not even bother to check my status and she quickly reply to me that no rooms were available so the least was to stay till 1 and at 1 they start calling us in the room to vacate the room while I was in a phone meeting and I had to carry on my meeting from the hall of my floor next to the lift and that was very uncomfortable. I am really disappointed by the appalling behaviour of the staff.

Well located at Place Catelogne (quiet part of Montparnasse), but lots of street works on rue Cmdt Rene Mouchotte, so getting there or even calling for a taxi is difficult. Public transport is better- you have Gaite station very nearby, and 4 metro lines at Montparnasse itself. Breakfast is really not 4* standard, and the rooms are clean though not very well designed. For example there are just not enough power points (even the TV and coffee machine share one power point, leaving nothing available for a laptop). Understandable as this used to be Hotel Concorde; they should have renovated and modernised it more when Mercure took over. So overall ok as it's well priced for a Left Bank hotel, but Pullman acorss the street would have been a better choice for a slightly higher price.

My room wasn’t available until 19.10 `we are trying to find you a room’ Room 116 has multiple problems, the room is cold, the controls for heat/cold is not even on let alone working. The bed makes loud noises just sitting on it, any movement when in it makes loud squeaking noises. My sink was leaking from the under waste whenever used (this was fixed) My view was the entrance to the Carpark, so loud noise as cars went in and out from early morning. Ridiculous loud noise from under the room started at just gone 6am every time a lift/door opened (I think kitchen related) sounded like a loud parrot repeating a whistle. The `mini bar’ was 2 cartons of water. No milk or sugar with the coffee sachets, 2 herbal teas (undrinkable) Either no one at the desk to talk to, or long queues, managed to only report the leak under the sink. Pillows were very comfortable and the bed, just a shame it was so noisy. The shower head wouldn’t stay upright, the attachment kept sliding down the pole, no soap in one container. On my second evening after locking my door and having a shower, as I left I found my door had been opened and not shut, my door was open, it had been serviced, there was no reason for anyone to be coming into the room, and surely you knock first, this made me feel very uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. Not at all what you would expect for the price of the room, not the `inner courtyard view’ as the room I booked said it had, the room looked nothing like the one advertised, greatly disappointed. If anyone is given this room, they are not going to have an enjoyable stay.
