Arrived very late after an exhausting long haul flight. Very welcoming reception by Hind who helped me with my luggage and made sure I was comfortable and had a very quiet room. First impression of my room was a bit of disappointment as it was very old. However, it was comfortable, very clean, bathroom was spotless with many towels and adequate amenities. Think of the place as "retro" style and basic. Breakfast was delivered in my room as requested. Served with a smile. Someone had taken great care to prepare a generous tray with a great assortment. Coffee was at right temperature and orange juice was freshly squeezed Cons: bathtub was slow draining, shower curtains too short and bathroom was flooded. PowerPoints were under bedside tables and awkward to reach to recharge phones. Wake-up call didn't happen Only five minutes downhill to Montparnasse station. Recommend

Staff are helpful and friendly. The facilities are rather poor. I have to say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in my life when having travelled across the world: 1. Broken tiles in the bathroom with sealants hanging out. Poor workmenship. The cap of the water tab is missing. 2. No tray or basket to hold confectioneries, which just lay on the surface of the desk and easily spread all over the places 3. Poor insulation: any sound from next rooms penetrate through and the joining wall was wobbling 4. Only 1 panel of curtain, which doesn't fit the whole glass wall. the gap let light coming into the room 5. The curtain just hang over the sockets on the wall. If there's any malfunctional sockets, any sparks might set up fire to the curtain leading to disasters. 6. The bedside table is far too low and only reaches the frame of the bed. Rather unconfortable. 7. Room's key card is not working. Every day we had to go to to the reception to reswipe the card before we can open our room. If you need photos, just let me know.
