We needed to stay one night in Paris before catching our train the next day, the location is perfect if you need to be close to gare Montparnasse. But the service was just okay especially for the high price we paid. They said they would provide a baby bed, we arrived to a room with a pull out bed unfolded but not made. The staff was helpful and they were fast to bring a baby bed and fold the unneeded bed.

The reception staff was not very welcoming, being very matter of fact with a rather cold tone of voice. The barman did not know what a diabolo menthe was and struggled with processing a cash payment. One bed was not prepared in our room, soap was missing in the shower. It just felt like there was not management to train staff appropriately (attitude, skills and information) to the level of a 4 star hotel.
