I genuinely struggle to understand how this hotel has earned a 5-star rating. Based on the quality of the amenities, service, and cleanliness, it feels much closer to a 3-star property. With the exception of one gentleman at reception, the front desk staff were cold, disengaged, and appeared to lack basic hospitality training. Simple courtesies such as greeting guests with a smile seemed to be missing. The room itself was disappointing. There was visible dust on the bathroom shelf where the towels were stored, the body lotion dispenser was not functioning, there were insufficient towels provided, and several other basic details had clearly been overlooked. This is, without question, the most disappointing hotel I have stayed at that claims to be a 5-star property. I would not recommend it and certainly would not choose to stay here again.
