We stay in gdynia often but it's the first time in this hotel. Overall it was a good place, the staff were pleasant the room comfortable and we tried the wine in the winestone bar and that was nice ! The only issue was the noise from the renovation work. It was invasive and made it very difficult to spend quiet time in the room during the day. I think it would have been fair to inform guests specifically before check in. An email should be sent to let people know. Yes it is in booking.com but it's buried in the notes. Other hotels we have stayed in have done this and I think doing it in this case it is a reasonable expectation.

As always when staying in Gdynia, choosen this hotel due to it's location and breakfast. Variation of options is astonishing and they offer scrambled eggs made from actually REAL eggs, not this dry powder like in most hotels!! This prooves high class of this facility. Very friendly staff and comfortable bed makes every stay very satisfactionary.

I was nicely surprised by the look of the new interior of the rooms, I would suggest to add description of rubbish segregation rules as I wasn't sure which colour was to which rubbish. The only letdown as was Nikoleta she is grumpy as hell, approached her for welcome drinks which were not very welcomed after this encounter. This is not first time she has extremely bad customer service manners, old staff was so much more welcoming. It's a shame she is representing such a nice hotel. I visit Mercure for over 10 year and never met more unpleasant member of staff. Big thanks to Mrs Gosia as usual.
